Rainbow Dash always celebrates Christmas in style.
Well, I didn't complete A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Pageant today as I had hoped, but I do have the next two chapters drafted, and I wrote enough to run the story over the acceptable word count for the contest. Oh well.
(As if I could write anything that's only 10,500 words. Ha.)
Looks as if the story has had a modest but respectable first and second run. It managed to stay on the popular list for about a day. I was cynically expecting a vote bombing, but that didn't happen.
In these next two chapters, we get more world-building, and we learn that ponies can be inconveniently touchy about certain subjects. The next chapter will be up after the editors have had a chance to look it over. I don't push or pressure my editors, since they work for free, so that will happen when it happens.
I plan on reading it.
