    The Kiwi Farm

To amuse myself, I rewrote the conspiracy rant from Kiwi Farms' owner Joshua Moon (source: Kotaku) into a ponified feel-good newspaper article.
    Enjoy!

    Adoptable Idea 15

While helping another author edit their story, I came up with an alternative idea for how their character reached Equestria. They ended up not using it, so I'm reposting it here. I may have borrowed some of it from Machinations of a Trickster by Deviance and

    HiE one-shot

I had this idea to ponify an old Flash animation (now a YouTube video, available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=guUnErBM5Bc ).

This is what I came up with. Maybe if I put in a little more work, I could easily build this story up with more words to meet the 1000-word minimum and submit this as a story.

    Adoptable idea 13

Finally made it to lucky number thirteen. For some reason, I prefer and have absolutely no trouble writing introductions. But when it comes down to actually doing more than that, I don't know... Maybe I just don't like seeing things complete. Maybe some deep seeded fear of absolute finality, of closure. Who knows, really?

I think that this is the last bit of the story I have written that I'm willing to spoil.

Sometimes I write most of a chapter before abandoning the entire concept and writing a synopsis.

"Clover's Day"

"In a time long ago. Longer back than anypony alive today could remember..."

"Immemorial."

"Yeah, that. There were two Alicorn sisters princessess who ruled together and created harmony over all of Equestria."

"A diarchy."

"What? No, Neither of them died."

"That's the name one would call two equaling rulers controlling one providence."

"They didn't rule over spices..."

"Now You're getting your Prench confused. You know what? No, forget it. Just... continue."

"Okay... Right, so, the two Princess sisters had a disagreement..."

"That's putting it mildly. They went to war!"

He shot a icy glare at her. "You done?"

"For now, I think. Please continue, oh Great Story Teller." A tiny smirk crawled across her face."Wow me."

His cheeks flushed a little.
He cleared his throat and continued, "One day, the younger sister grew jealous. The ponies worked and played during her sisters days and stayed indoors and slept through her beautiful nights. The younger sister felt unappreciated, alone, and unloved."

"That's a little dramatic, don't you think? And how could you know how Princess Luna felt thousands of years ago?"

He sighed. "I asked her in a letter, alright? I sent it to Princess Celestia and asked her to pass it onto Luna."

" I sincerely doubt that's what Princess Luna told you."

"We'll, not entirely..." He shuffled a little in his seat, "But how could she not? Sure, dream walking is cool and all, but she can only enter dreams of ponies thinking of her. And Celestia has that thing she does with the clouds, and she can do that to any cloud day or night. Who wouldn't be jealous of that!"

"You sure you want to add it in though? Seems like a really personal thing to say about the princess."

"It'll be fine. As I was saying; The younger sister was resentful. Then one faithful night Luna refused to lower the moon and make way for Celestia's sun. Huh. You know, I've never thought of it before."

She turned from the window and peered at him, "What's that?"

"I was just thinking about Princess Luna and Celestia. Do you think they were named after what they control, or were the sun and moon named after them?"

She blinked slowly, then turned back to look out the window, "Now there's a dangerous philosophical question. There's enclaves of study in science, thaumaturgy, psychiatry, pharmacology, and even botany who have pondered that very same thing." She sighed. "For today, it doesn't really matter."

"It seems like it really does matter to lots of ponies! I didn't ever expect to hear you say that something doesn't matter. Like, ever."

Her ears lowered, "It does matter, but... just not today, okay? There are more important things today than who is named after what. Keep going."

"Sorry. Where was I?"

"Princess Luna refused to lower the moon." She replied flatly.

"Right. The elder sister tried to reason with her but by then it was too late. The bitterness in the young ones heart had transformed her into the evil Nightmare Moon!"

•Clover distracted NNM with her trickery long enough for Celestia to use the Elements of Magic and banish her NMM to the moon. In doing so clover had given up her life. Twilight and Spike arrive by train in Canterlot. Trixie is there to greet them fearing they were going to be late. Trixie is a direct descendent of Cover. They go to the castle for the erection of the "Clover the Clever" memorial statue and christening of the new holiday "Cover's Day".
