Talons the size of lances and sharp enough to rend spirits from their flesh gently plucked a swirling dreamform from the mound below it. The raptor drew its prize up to beak level and inspected it with critical, alien eyes.
This one will do.
The dreamform swelled in front of the giant bird’s eyes, its yellow colored swirls thinning to reveal a large sun-lit room filled with ponies reading books and scrolls. Yes, this one can find the answers I need. I simply need to pull it out screaming into the darkness! I - No! Delusion shook his head. No, be rational. Trick it. Use that damnable ‘princess’ form for now. There will be time for terror later, once I am sure no creature can stand against me.
The talon lifted the bloated dreamform higher, trails of inky smoke followed it from the dying coals of his eyes. The bright yellow sphere darkened even as it expanded further, looming above him like some wasted and washed out planet. The library at its center turned dark and moon-lit, matching the real world. The extra ponies vanished with a flick of his will until only the pony this dreamform originated from remained.

Eh...mostly life has been holding me up. Some of it legit, some of it just my own lazy-assness. Things are moving along though!

I honestly don't know about any other fics with dreamwalking Luna that predate mine. I assume there is some out there, but yeah, I did catch that boat pretty early.
Either way, the new chapter is coming along. I hope to have it to the editor in a week or so.
