The Thing about Weekly Updates · 10:56pm Nov 30th, 2013
...is that they're a bitch to handle. At least I kept it going for a little while, right?
Anyways, yes, I know I've dropped the ball with the past few chapters with regards to updating regularly on Fridays, but I'm an engineer with a rather large workload, so my time has been limited as of late (also I'm a procrastinating fck, but that's besides the point). Also, I realize now that Friday is not the optimal day to be posting regular updates. There's a simple reason for this: whenever I finish writing a chapter, I always take a day, maybe two, to just sit back and see how you all respond to it before I start writing again. Posting on Fridays thus means that I'm losing the weekend to work on roadac, which is kind of not a good thing.
What I'm saying is this: if I do try to keep updating RoaDC on a regular schedule, I'm probably going to move it from Fridays to something like Mondays so I have the weekend to work on it. At the very least, I'm going to make sure that no chapter takes longer than 2 weeks to get out. With Finals week right around the corner, that'll be the challenge, won't it?
I have some work on RoaDC 12 already done. You guys will finally be able to see the big event I've been building towards... Jubilee Day. From there, who knows where the story will go?
(Big secret: I have no freaking clue myself. SoL is weird in that you don't really know what the next chapter will be about until you sit down and start writing it... oh, how I yearn for the days of writing adventure stories again).
24 out!
I waaaarned you~
