I'm moving up the ranks. I have a crazy goal too: I want to have double that number of stories by New years day. That's right, I'm going to write (and more importantly publish) 10 new stories by January first. I certainly have more than that many set up and ready to be written. It's just well, the writing them part that's hard. But I'm gonna do it!

1547324 Keep in mind this is a story every 3 days, so a minimum of 333 new story words per day, which seems doable. (Especially when you consider that Fimfiction counts quotation marks as words if you type in the native editor, which I usually do.)
1547496 It's bearable, many authors in the site are used to writing an average of 2.5K quality words per day.
However I would always go for quality over quantity.
