Here's a synopsis of the next story I'll be writing after Fleeting Romance is finished. Hope you like it.
My Overbearing Aunt
My name’s Marcus. Marcus Cortez. I’m currently a freshman at CUFTA. You don’t know what that means? Well, it stands for “Canterlot University for the Arts.” I’m planning on being a cartoonist once I graduate. While it is a little unsettling to go to college in a completely different world from my own, and while being a human in a school full of mostly ponies is a little intimidating, I’m doing fine so far. I don’t have to worry about roommates, since I don’t live in a dorm. I live with my aunt.
Her name is Celestia. Princess Celestia.
You’re probably wondering how a human could be the nephew of a pony, and an alicorn princess, no less. Well, it’s like this…
My parents were good friends with Celestia. They were the first humans she encountered when she first came to the human world back when they were newlyweds and I was in my mother’s stomach. She became close friends with my folks, and she would visit them whenever she got the chance to come to the human world. Once I was born, she tried to visit more often.
Auntie Celeste loved kids.
Anyway, when I turned eighteen, and when my high school graduation was months away, my parents had a surprise for me. Apparently they had been talking with Celestia, and she pulled some strings to get me enrolled into CUFTA.
There was one problem, though. My parents had to pay for housing, and they didn’t have enough money to pay for it. That was when Celestia had an idea, an idea that was pretty out there.
She offered to adopt me.
She said that if she could legally adopt me as her nephew, then I could live with her in Canterlot Castle and go to school. Naturally, my parents were apprehensive at the thought of relinquishing their guardianship of me to Celestia, and I was never a fan of the idea of leaving my folks, but after a lot of consideration, we all agreed to Celestia’s proposition.
So I moved to Canterlot with Celestia a month before my first day of school, after all the legal papers were finalized. It took some getting used to, but I’ve mostly gotten accustomed to living in a castle.
Mostly.
Celestia was new at the whole “parenting” thing, so there are times where she messes up. She’s just as unfamiliar with this situation as I am. She can be a little overprotective at times, and she tends to baby me, but she’s doing just fine for the most part.
Which brings us to today, my first day at CUFTA. I’m a little nervous, but I’m sure it won’t be too hard.
At least, I HOPE it won’t be too hard…
Now, here's some important information about how this story relates to Chaos Next Door and Fleeting Romance:
It doesn't.
This story will take place in a universe where ponies and humans have established contact and coexist with one another, in this story, the contact was made shortly before the events of Season 1 of the show, meaning that Marcus's parents met Celestia before the return of Nightmare Moon. The story's main events take place in an alternate continuity starting after Season 3 (basically a continuity where the events of season four never happened). I'll need to read this one, and building your own world even larger, ooh idea! I have a universe idea and I wanted to know it you wanted to help me.
It starts out as a standard Humans watch Ponies scenario. Well on the other side things are nice and calm between villains, and all is good, except Celestia has known all along they were a show made to sell "Poorly made toys, I'm not even pink." as she would put it. She chooses to keep this from her subjects and family because of the shock and depression it would cause.
She also knows that the wide world of Equestria is filled with many ponies, too many for a team of writers to create. She soon realizes the fan created characters are transferring over into the cartoon world.
I wanted to ask if you would like to have some pony characters of yours cameo, like a collaboration, you'd be credited, and help write the scenes that feature them. I have a few already, but I can't fill a world on my own. I thought it would be nice to have a few characters from other authors appear, adding a little weight to the theme. But if you don't want to I understand.
I want it!

This is a very interesting idea, very interesting indeed. This really humor me with the idea of Celestia having a compleatly different specie as a son. And i will surely read the *bad word* out of this story.
But it will be a bit sad that we will have to leave our good old friends Erik and Cory, oh well i guess all awezomely amazing things of greatness will have to come to an end.
By the way when this story is over will you continue your storys in this universe or will you go back to your other universe? Or meaby you will make a even newer universe?

I honestly have no idea. I usually come up with ideas for new stories as I write the current ones. I'd like to revisit the Chaos Next Door universe (or the CND-verse, as I call it), but I'd have to come up with a good idea.
