That and having three key pieces of new canon:
1) NMM 's banishment
2) the origine of the EoH - Tree of Harmony
3) Discord's pertrification

That's lots of new canon for authors to play with!

For me 1 specifically is just in time, as NMM's banishment is the subject of my next chapter of Renaissance Pony, and 2 is the subject of the following three chapters.

Aside from the spontaneous decision that Twilight's safety overrode everything else, which did nothing other than pad out the second episode. Other than that, quite good. I especially look forward to seeing what comes of the Lockbox of Harmony.

That was great! Low-quality or not, I couldn't watch this on TV this morning, so being able to see it this way was way beyond cool! Can't wait to see it in a higher quality later!

Also, I would love to be able to download these to my comp(s) later so I can watch it any time that I want to. Can anyone tell me how to do that? I'm kinda clueless as to how.

And without giving anything away, it looks like the girls are gonna be facin' a new quest this season. Can't wait to see what kinda things they get into along the way!!!
