Update on Cheating Death and all fics · 8:13am Nov 22nd, 2013
Hello and greetings the 4 of my followers who read these blog posts. I certainly have been a ghost lately, and the lack of updating has lead to some guessing that I'm either dead, being held for ransom, or consorting with communists. None of these are true of course as I am still among the living, have not run afoul with the mafia, and was personally responsible for kicking Stalin right in the tush. No, the truth of the mater is folks, I'm easily distracted, my job has been very time demanding lately, and everything I write usually is either slow or for a new idea.
HOWEVER, That has all changed as I just got a local job and begin soon. What this means is that I wont have to spend about 2 1/2 hours every day commuting to work, giving me more time to unwind and write. I also have decided to keep a DAILY UPDATED progress chart on what I'm working on. This should help me sort what I should work on next and give you folks a better estimate of when new chapters will come out.
So let me summarize my plans for all the fics I have in the works:
Cheating Death Act 2: Five of a Kind and One Joker

Okay so this is the one everyone is watching me for, I actually had to break up the chapter into 2 because i realsed there was a LOT to get out and people tend to not like 20,000 word chapters. Either way, I hope to have this out first asap, Its been WAY to long and you people have been patient enough.
Equine Synthesis
"My name, is Twilight Sparkle.
I'm trapped within the city of Manehatten.
My friends are missing.
I'm surrounded by, creatures, abominations.
I can't remember how I got here or what happened.
And somepony... something is watching me."
This was one I teased in my last blog post, I've written most of the first chapter and it just needs to be finished up and edited. This is my first fic in the horror/ dark genre, and if any of you know the system shock universe, then you KNOW what kind of shit is gonna go down. Lets just say body horror is the LOWEST of horrors awaiting the mane 6 in this fic.
Equestria's Most Wanted: A Mage Managing Mistaken Misconduct

Taking a vacation in a nice relaxing and peaceful country? That's good.
Taking a vacation and being blamed for the the theft of some very important jewelry? That's bad.
Taking a vacation and becoming public enemy number one? That's really Bad.
Taking a vacation and being hunted by adorable pegasi, unicorns, and ponies? That's... different.
A mage decides to take a respite in what he assumes to be the peaceful and safe land of Equestria. Unfortunately he's accused of stealing the "Elements of Harmony", a powerful set of magical regalia, and goes on the run from the law. Now stuck in a land of magical ponies, cut off from his only way home, and now the most wanted creature in Equestria, does he have any hope of proving his innocence and going home?
This is a fic I've also wanted to do, I blame my latest addiction to The Dresden Files for it. The character in question is an OC and he is probibly the most interesting character I've ever thought up. 'But Wil! You already have a snarky human in Equestria!' True, but Felix has evolved into a different type of character and I hope the next few chapters will help illustrate that. This fic will be like a combination of mission impossible and the blues brothers with PONIES.
Trapped at the Cinema

Four ponies find themselves at the mercy of a new and dangerous security system that has taken over the local cinema! Will they survive, or will the silver screen run red with their blood?
Though this may SOUND dark, its actually a comedy, in the vein of the Cornetto Trilogy. This one is actually all OC's, Tumblr ponies to be exact. The ponies in question are:

This is just a silly little blog of Lyra recounting the time she was abducted by aliens, and her 'exuberance' leads to hilarious shenanigans.
Pinkie's Paramount Party of Apocalyptic Proportions

When Twilight is blasted by the Elements during Magical Mystery Cure, Pinkie Pie jumps into the blast to save her friend, but change her into an Alicorn. Her first reaction? THROW A PARTY! But not just any party, no, Princess Pinkie Pie decides to throw THE party. A celebration that will lead to the very destruction of Equestria unless Twilight can stop her! Will Twilight be able to avert disaster and stop the crazy partying god?

You think you know parties? You don't know APOCALYPTIC PARTIES! This is basically what would happen if Pinke was given phonemically cosmic powers, and what happens? Nothing safe.

Huzzah! Glad to see you are back. While I am indeed looking forward to more Cheating Death Act II and the System Shock crossover, you caught my attention for Equestria's Most Wanted because of the follow sentence:
Now I have this mental image of Jake Blues (the great late John Belushi) being lowered via rope by Pinkie Pie clad in her black sneak suit (from the episode It's About Time) into a magically secure room to steal something while both Twilight Sparkle AND Elwood Blues give contradicting instructions/advice on how to steal said something.
... What? I know that won't appear in the tale, but still a hilarious mental picture regardless.

Actually the mane 6 will be against him, because he was mistaken for stealing the elements. To that, he gets bucked by AJ, shot out of Pinkie's cannon, smashed by Rainbow, and telekenitically slammed by Twilight... and that's the second chapter!
