Okay, so I wanted to go ahead and get more active on this site. I've been having trouble with writer's block recently, but I think I've found a way to counter it. I have several ideas and a bit more time these days, so I'm going to get a steady rhythm going for updates.

Lunar Gravity:
I've been working on this for a couple of weeks now (and by working on it I mean staring at the screen trying to will words onto the page) and I have a couple thousand words written. Some users offered their help and I've received some good ideas on what to do to continue. This story is definitely my highest priority for updates and I want to give myself a deadline to kick myself in the butt a bit. I'm going to go ahead and say the next chapter will be finished, edited, and posted for reading by midnight on Saturday night.

Tides of Shade:
I have a lot of love for every fic that I post here and this one is no exception. It was the first thing I'd written in a long time as well as the first fanfiction I've ever written, so it's definitely not up to scratch in a technical sense. The next chapter in this story has been a lot of trouble to write because it deals with a lot of backstory and character creation and I want to get it right. I have 3191 words done in this chapter so far, but it looks like another 4000 or so to do it justice. Expect this one before the end of November.

The Diabolic Savior:
Yeah, yeah, I know this one deals with some not-so-fun stuff and a lot of people are uncomfortable with it. I've always had the idea to do a poignant story about the loneliness Celestia might feel being so long-lived and so powerful. I had the idea to mix this with a power fantasy about her losing control when one of my exes described such a fantasy to me. I never wanted it to be about soul-crushing humiliation or cruelty and I don't think it is, but a fic has to stand on its own two legs once you send it out into the world. I respect everyone who feels I went too far with it and I apologize for not having the trigger warning up sooner. It's a one-shot and I don't feel I need to revisit it, so it's just gonna stay where it is.
