Ha, ha! I suck at predicting length. This one is nearly cracking 8000 words, again. I'm not sure if that's cause for anyone to complain, though.
Again, I'm trying a lot of new things in this chapter and I'm starting to wonder if I should stop announcing that, and simply announce when I'm NOT trying anything new. Kind of the point of all this writing, I guess, to experiment a bit and gain experience.
Just a quick note: No, it's not turning into a Dune crossover. I'm sure I fooled all of no people with that announcement. I wish I had had a little more time for the April Fools to plan something better. Something like a fake chapter update where Celestia and Luna have and adventure with Derpy Hooves, or battle the great Army of Evil G3.5 Ponies. April Fools is one of my absolutely favorite holidays and I was sad to miss it.
