White Box: The Motion Picture · 5:07am Apr 13th, 2012
No, that title isn't a joke. I've put all my stories on hold for now (not to worry, the sequel to A Rose Reverie is still on the books, along with the sequel to I Might Have Been). The reason for this story delay is that I've entered an agreement to adapt the (deservedly) famous work "White Box" into a short film.
As you can imagine, the film won't be starring ponies. My capacity for flash animation is approximately equivalent to my capacity for time travel, so while the film will be true to the plot of the story, it will star humans instead.
Filming is set to begin within six weeks, and the completion timeline is somewhere near the end of the summer. Watch out for this extremely exciting project in late August!
Thanks or doing it like that, that way I can show it to my parents and not feel awkward about it... I am such a closet Brony.
Sounds like Fun! I can't wait to see it when it comes out!
Interesting...but dangerous game at best. Look at the Hunger Games, movie was good, but the book was so much more gratifying. The same thing with Harry Potter. With Fahrenheit 451,the movie was SO bad,yet the book was the most amazing futuristic novel I've read from Mr. Bradbury. I don't quite trust animations or any type of filming of a novel,it almost never be loyal to the original script. But,thats my opinion, not a proven fact. You should still try it out,as a experiment.

If the movie flops, which if it's being done by the author I can't see that being very likely. You still have the great written story.
Have I mentioned that I love A Rose Reverie?
I so just did! Good luck with the movie!
Can not wait. If you put the video on Youtube make sure you link it on here.
Hmmm...
I'm not sure if I should sque now that White Box is going to have a short film with it, or rage because it'll have human's instead of ponies.
Awesome dude. Think outside the corral. I'd love to see it.
Like a real movie in theatres? Or just on youtube? Because either would be awesome, I'm JW. have a nive day!
