If there are any of you that follow me that haven't heard about this yet (I just learned about it today), one of the herd is in serious danger. Michael Marones recently attempted suicide after endless bullying over his interest in Friendship is Magic. Like a lot of us here, he's a relentlessly dedicated pony. Being ADHD, he identifies strongly with Pinkie, and having something so pure and innocent to take solace in helped him immensely. I'm sure we all know this story well. I know I do. As I've imparted to you guys in the past, MLP is the primary reason I'm sitting here right now.
The Mane 6 cast has already done something amazing by recording personal messages for Michael, in character. Now it's our turn. When Michael wakes up (and I say "when" because he will), his family is going to face serious financial trouble. This will obviously be the least of their concerns, but eventually those bills will hit, and knowing personally about major medical bills, it'll likely be in the hundreds of thousands. Spectacularly, a relief fund has been set up and raised an incredible amount of money already. Let's make that amount even more incredible, eh guys?
If you don't have money to donate (which I totally understand), let's still show our support. An eleven year old boy should never feel so alone that he can think of no other option than to leave this world, so seek out any medium you can, whether it's a message board, a blog post, a Youtube video, etc., and blow up the goddamn internet. Let's show Michael that he couldn't be less alone so that when he comes back to us, he'll know he's loved by thousands and thousands of people.
People may criticize and bully bronies, but we know who we are. We're proud, and when someone's in need we, we fill it. We have a job to do; let's do it.
Brony on...
....As a borny who has Cancer, I feel that when someone tries to kill themselves, that they have not even thought of other ways to live. However, as a kid who tried to stab myself in the 1st grade due to depression. I can't help but feel sorry for him. Life is hard, and in those early years of school, if you don't find that one friend to always stand by you. Then you will feel alone no matter how many other friends you have.

Damn, this hits hard, because I know what it's like to be bullied to the point of desperation. I also feel his plight as he awakes, because I almost didn't wake myself less than a week ago. Life can often be cruel, and those around us can make it all the harder to try and live on, but none of us is really alone. So long as we have each other and we support each other, we can achieve anything.
