Laptops! Voiceboxes! Ponies! (or, wow, an actual update)

Good gravy, it has been a long while since I updated my blog here, hasn’t it?

The primary reason for that is I don’t really have that much of merit to say. I’ve been writing like billy-o and the first draft of Chapter 9 of Playing With My Heart is finished and awaiting editing. In the meantime I’ve been keeping up with my dramatic readings on YouTube, which take up the majority of my fannish time at the moment since the full-cast, radio play style approach I take does tend to eat up a lot of time and effort. The first episode of my radio play is also finished and merely awaiting artwork now (if there are any artists out there who would like to lend a poor girl a hand, I’d be exceedingly grateful BTW). Plus, y’know, real life has a way of intruding quite impressively on fandom time.

That said, while I was away on holiday in July and August I wrote three different fics – two one-shots and a precanon multi-part. Plus work continues on Bon-Bon the Demon Slayer, which I shall be releasing once Playing With My Heart is concluded. The one shots are an uplifting Derpy and Dinky fic and a LyraBon tragedy, respectively. Plus I’ve been co-writing a high-concept Minuette fic called Time Waits For No Mare with the incorrigible Silvernis (come along and add your own voice if you'd like to be a part of the project).

All systems go, basically. They just go a little slower than I might have liked. ;)

Since it is to be released on YouTube, each scene of the play has a different image on screen while it runs (example). Basically when express an interest I present them with a list of the scenes available, they pick one they'd like to do and we go from there.

I've been concentrating on writing all week (not having an internet connection for a lot of time helped focus me ) so expect some updates fairly soon-ish.
