So, parts two and three came out the same day.
View counts soared, Likes hit 94, Faves are well over a hundred, and I also had to make a note that pony laws are purely fictional in the comment section. I never thought I'd have to do that, but I've seen comments of that sort pop up before, referring to age of consent laws (specifically in Spike fics), or similar things. That is one descent into darkness I don't want to see my comment sections delve into.
The next chapter will be a long while in the making. besides going hiking over the weekend the next two weeks I"ll be away on course. Again. No guaranteed time during which shall I have to work on the chapter. The last chapter. That's a hard thing to say at this point. I'll miss this little world I've built up. A lot I think, but the worst thing you can do to a story is drag it on past where it should end. I've seen it happen too many times to TV shows. (Bleach, Naruto, Heroes, One Piece ... I'm looking at you!)
Speaking of the story, I was wondering what you may have thought about me taking 'The Broken Flight of Philomena' and posting it as a solo thing. It's certainly stand alone material, what with the making of the history of Equestria in it. Just a thought puttering around in my mind.
Seems everyone I've talked to has Captain Storm Front as their favoured of the new OCs I intro'd in the chapters. I guess my big question is, how did I do with those NPCs? Do you have a favourite and/or why?
I'd love to discuss advice and whatnot for future OC use (not in this fic, but perhaps in others)

I preferred the Crusader, but then I like plucky sidekicks over main heroes.
Also, if you are going to a final chapter with no sequel. Please for the love of God, put in a epilogue so we know how the characters' lives turn out.
Now that I've noticed this story, Imma read it, looks very deep, and I might learn a thing or two whilst reading it

I've looked at your faves, and I know we've much in common for taste wise, so perhaps you will! I never thought I'd get a new reader through my blog postings... speaking of which, I suggest not looking back to old blogs, as there are spoilers. there's also spoilers in the comment sections.... really before you browse anything further, read! We ain't much for secrets around here apparently. There's foreshadowed story lines aplenty in the fic, and I think they work better as a surprise.
I hope less that you will learn something so much as feel. There will be drama, laughs, and some adventures even.If you do enjoy, at least there's plenty of it!

Hah! I never even considered Sky Captain and The Crusader as OCs! But I suppose the flight show did give them plenty of personality even without speaking parts.
There will be no sequel. I can say that for a fact. There will be an epilogue, but 'technically' the fic will be marked as completed after Chapter 13.
I don't want the epilogue to be mandatory reading because it will partially be a songfic, devoted to the song that inspired the story. I know they're not exactly popular around here though, so I want people to know that Chapter 13 will end with all loose ends tied and a good (i hope) fulfilling ending.
The epilogue will take place after a year's time, and show how everyone's getting along.
