The first draft of my FlutterDash contest entry is complete. Yeah, the thing I said I totally wasn't going to do last time. I decided to do it. It ended up a bit longer than I had originally planned thanks to Bribri, who made various suggestions that inflated it by at least several thousand words. Thanks.
Because of the rules of that particular contest, the story likely won't be going up on here for at least a week after it is actually done because four people have to actually, you know, judge the story.
So here's your chance to see it early, in all it's unpolished glory. The catch is that you'd have to give me some feedback on it. I've got it in a Google doc, so if you'd be interested in looking it over and giving me some feedback on it, shoot me a PM and I'll give you access. It isn't as long as Crepes, but it still exceeds the standard for "short story" (meaning it is over 7,500 words long, so know what you're getting yourself into). And, per the contest rules, it involves ACTUAL CONFLICT. Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash GET INTO A FIGHT! I know, crazy. It's almost like there's an actual story with stakes and conflict.
If not, you just get to sit on your hooves and wait for it to come out when the first stage of the judging is complete.
Just letting you know, this breaks the conditions of blind judging and may disqualify your entry.

The judging is specified as blind in the contest rules. Posting a public link to the story violates that, which is why not posting to the site is a condition.
I'd suggest taking down this blog post (or removing the link) and awaiting a decision from Everhopeful.

Er, there is no public link to the story here. The only link in this post is to the contest. Hence my asking people to PM me if they want to look at it and review it.
I assumed this was alright, seeing as some other folks have mentioned in the thread that they were looking for editors and had people looking it over. Was I wrong?
