Alright, welcome to the first ever, Four months to conquer the world writing challenge.

Equestria has had some villains, but the next one could be you. Will you succeed where others have failed? Enter your story, and let's see how well you do!

The rules:

You start with a character based on yourself. You have four months (Story wise) to come up with a plan to conquer Equestria.

The first three months will be spent getting your plan together, putting your character through his or her paces, trying to set up their plan. In this time, you can visit other universes, if you so desire. You can only visit three other universes. And when you visit those universes, you can only take one thing from each. It could be a skill, it could be a piece of technology, or it could be something you create in that universe with the given tools. The fourth month, after you gather everything together, has to be spent getting your plan ready. Basically, you have to write about your character preparing the plan.

One more rule. You have to dedicate at least one chapter per item to acquiring whatever it is you need for your plan of Equestrian domination.

FAQ:

Can my character be ANY species?
Yes, as long as it's based entirely on you.

From what perspective do we write from?
Any perspective.

So I could be Twilight sparkle?
No, the character has to be based on you.

When's the deadline?
The deadline, because I like to keep things consistent, is four months. January 10th, 2014. No more submissions after this. Your story has to be on the fourth month in story by this date.

Does this have to be Equestrian domination, or can we kill them all?
Destroying is conquering. If you intend to destroy Equestria, then sure.

So, the first three months you prepare, and the fourth month you conquer?
Let me clarify. First three months would be spent gathering supplies. Fourth month will be spent getting your plan ready.

Yes.

When do I get to conquer Equestria?
I kinda want to read all the individual entries, then have one fustercluck of an epilogue where everyone is trying to conquer Equestria at once, and then one guy comes out on top. You guys can write your own individual epilogues, but just for shits and giggles, I'm gonna write my fustercluck epilogue and post it as a oneshot.

Can one of your items be a spell you learned from another universe or a living being?
If you can write about your character acquiring the item in question, then yes. There's no limit.
