Blah....g (No... moti...vation) · 1:36am Aug 10th, 2013
Your Antagonist here,
If I had to be honest about it, I'd have to say that I've got next to zero motivation for writing anything pony at the moment. Don't get me wrong, I've been trying. I managed to get 2500+ words into a fight fic that pits Rarity and Applejack against eachother with toy lightsabers, and I'm 1K into a full on clop-fic. But even with those, the progress is still dragging. It's just really hard to get inspired when ponywise, nothing new has come out for the longest time. It's also difficult to salvage spent momentum and motivation from cancelled stories. Hell, it's taking everything I've got to even write this blog. Seriously, I feel like a centipede with busted legs.
It's like the only things I really want to do at the moment are: Mark "The Serenade of Silver Belles' and 'Payback is a Switch' to incomplete status and keep working those universes, watch a shit ton more anime than I've already watched (Huzzah Samurai Champloo and Gantz!), and get back to parkour/ freerunning training.
Yeah it was just an excuse to show off, sue me.
Hmmm... now that I think about it, all three of those options look really fuckin' good. I'm just a bit skeptical about the first though. Certainly I've got control over both of those stories, but I don't want to step on any toes by just reopening them, so while I'll have to deal with Isseus for 'Payback I A Switch' I'm going to do this for the rest of you: Do you want the Serenade of Silver Belles sequel to be a completely different story altogether, or would you not be opposed to me slipping in a 'Book II'/ overglorified epilogue into what is essentially an incomplete story? Also those are the only stories I really feel like writing right now.
So what do you think I ought to do?
Loathe,
Your Antagonist
I think you ought to post more shirtless vi-I think you should write what you feel strongest towards. Personally, I feel you should worry less about what your followers want you to write and simply write content for your followers to read.
i think silver belle 2 should be sort of like a continuation or "over glorified epilogue" as you put it....(im going to have to use that)
as for payback is a switch well if you truly want to continue it for us then i cant wait to see what you have in store.
All in all dude just take your time dont rush it. just get into the mojo and do what you're great at telling amazing stories.
Do payback is a switch.
I think you should write a Book 2 of SSB, and definitely work with Isseus for a continuation of PiaS.
Because, frankly, those are both awesome stories and deserve continuation.
Do what ever feels right for you. That said I would read the hell out of a SSB book 2, or sequel, or what ever.
The Second Movement of Silver Belles would get an insta-fave from me. I can't get enough of Silver Belle these days.
I always go here if I need to get motivated! Hope it does the same for you!
Antag, stop showing off. Just because you are fit and can do things I will probably never do DOES NOT MAKE YOU—

Hammer ALL THE TOES!
I don't see why you can't just make a sequel to Silver Belles. Write a continuation.
And far as Payback is a Switch, hell the world is full of evil, that's why we have horror stories. Wes Craven and all those amazing dudes whose movies have been censored by Hollywood for being 'too real' just need to grow the fuck up. You have all the right to do whatever you want.
[The following has been and toned down before posting. Because people can't handle the truth]
Write what you want bro, may not be everyone's cup of tea, but at least *some* of us know what fantasy and reality are and how to keep the two in check. I can honestly tell you that I've read far darker stories then your Payback is a Switch. Which was brilliantly written btw, especially Scootaloo. Anything that makes you feel an emotion, Fear, Sadness, Hate and such, is a story worth telling.
Write on bro. Write. On. Bro.
It isn't the stories you write that are evil. It's the emotions they bring out laying deep within the human psyche. Some even embrace those evils and ask for more. Why? Because deep down humans are just animals. You can't change what you are, but you can learn to control them. Stories are just keys that unlock emotions. Which emotion you choose to unlock, and which you choose to indulge in are the reader's choice and the reader's alone.
A: Even though I've seen that video before, god DAMN is it still impressive and smexy.
B: Do whatever you feel like doing, we'll still eat that shit up like it' the last box of Twinkies in existence.
and C: I'll be out for a while AGAIN because my computer decided to tweak out again. The backlight stopped working again, I take it in to the computer shop, we boot it and the backlight's still dead, then when it's booting Windows it decides to come back on. He said he'd have a diagnosis for me on Monday, so that's the earliest you'll see me. Sorry, mate
