Hello everyone!
It's reached the point at which I've run out of randomly generated OC's to use as background characters, and I'll be needing a few for a later scene in Finders Keepers. What I was wondering, is if any of you, my dear followers, would like a chance to have your ponysona\OC appear?
What I need from you, if you'd like to help me out, is a comment on this blog entry with the following;
1 - A basic description of your character (include things like species, eye colour, cutie mark, etc).
2 - Some sort of guide to how they speak, do they use an accent or speak any foreign languages?
3 - An occupation, and how it relates to their cutie mark or special talent.
4 - A little bit of character history.
All of them will be added to a googledoc, and will be plucked at random when required for a scene. I would rather y'all send me ponysonas than OC's, because people can in my experience get a little tetchy about how their characters are used!
A couple of rules;
1 - No additional alicorns.
2 - Please try to stick to the colour and naming scheme of the show.
3 - Please try to show some originality!

The next fic to update should be Matterhorn, and I might even have a special guest writer for the chapter after that! Hopefully the final instalment of Downpour should be shortly after too!

I have no ponysona or OC's but can I just randomly run through the scene yelling, "I'm a cameo and what is this?"
That will be something everyone will enjoy.
Darn. My ponysona is named after me, and therefore doesn't follow the show's naming conventions. On the other, hoof, I do have a backup OC, so to speak, that I use for roleplaying sometimes. So, your choice, I guess. You know where to find me.

Fortunately for you, I have a detailed description of my OC on my profile, just so I can simply refer to it like I am now. I am proud of myself.
EDIT: By the way, the description takes up about half of my entire profile. Yeah. It's that detailed. You're welcome.
Oh wow.... I'd love to do something like this, but I don't have a good ponysona characterized.... at least, yet....
Oh well.
I'd like to see my ponysona/OC Whirring Gears appear in a fic.
1- Earth pony. Cutie mark is a thought bubble with connecting gears inside. Eyes, mane, and fur are all different shades representing different gray areas between 'Yes' and 'No'.
2- He talks with a light and happy sense, but when faced with a decision, he will flip back and forth between choices and list the benefits and arguments for both sides before coming to a conclusion. If you want to say hello, you might have to repeat yourself a couple times to snap him out of his thoughts.
3- He is a philosopher. He likes thinking about all the 'why' and 'what if' in the world, trying to come to an answer satisfying to himself. His cutie mark represents the internal gears of his mind working as he ponders a problem.
4- When he was younger, Gears was the child who would keep asking why things were the way they are. Everyone he talked to would eventually respond, "Because that's just how it is." He never liked that answer. After getting his cutie mark, he vowed that he would never settle a question without a thought out explanation if he could help it.
Sent
1) a red maned Pegasus with a green coat with one yellow eye and one silver eye hidden under his mane. Bawbee cards. (Bawbee roughly translates to lucky from the Scottish language. as such he has a scottish accent.) he has a playing card with all four symbols on it, the face of the card is split down the middle. the left side has a peasant dropping his last coin and the right side has a royal putting money it its wallet/purse. (doesn't matter if its male or female)
2) scottish accent and is very guarded when he talks, as if one wrong word could kill him. his words while limited are always carefully chosen giving him a good amount of charisma.
3) comes to Ponyville to work for his brother who owns the recreation center and to get help for his gambling problem.
4) got his cutie mark in Los-Pegasus by winning in every card game for a week then losing it all in one bet. since then he's traveled all across equestria winning and losing bits like there's no tomorrow, his family (and debts) eventually caught up to him and he was sent to live with his brother in ponyville.

I have had one chap in particular email me, whose character has been shuffled into the top of the deck as a protagonist for a fic that I have planned for soon(TM Valve)
You know who you are.
Can I send in two characters? My ponysona and my OC?
Not sure about my own Ponysona, but how about adding Caesar Salad from my own pony universe?
1.) He is a unicorn with a light-green coat, a mane of a different green color, and eyes of yet another shade of green. He has a cutie of a wooden spoon and spatula in a cross pattern. Here's a quickly-slapped together picture of him made from pony generator, if you want something to go on.
2.) He has a militaristic way of talking. He frequently addresses others as "sir" or another equivalent, and speaks in a loud and clear tone, even if the situation doesn't always call for it. He also tends to give sharp salutes when given orders, no matter how minor they may be.
3.) He's a sous chef. Don't know if it relates to his cutie-mark, but there is a sight gag in that he has a "green horn" and is also relatively inexperienced.
4.) Caesar was born to a drill sergeant father, which explains his military rookie personality. Rather than following his father's hoofsteps in serving the Equestrian royal guard, he discovered his passion for cooking when he tried to (and somehow succeeded in) prepare a better meal than the terrible rations that come standard for grunts.

- Rainbow Spectrum; Unicorn
Main Pelt: solid grey, not to dark, not to light.
Mane and Tail: Light gray, with pale grey (almost white) streak around the edges
Hooves: hair hooves (like Big Mac's) rainbow colored
Eyes: rainbow colored
Rump: half of my flank, and my back side is rainbow colored.
Cutie Mark: aged parchment, with a rainbow feather and a rainbow heart drawn on the parchment

Her personality is shy, and tends to try to keep to herself and not bother other ponies, but she will try to be as friendly as she possibly can when a pony approaches her. She loves to draw, and usually doesn't say no if you ask her to sketch something up for you. She usually very quiet around strangers, but can be very talk-active around ponies she is close to. She usually doesn't like much. Only art thieves she can't stand. She always signs her art she gives away, right off to the side, but still on the image so no pony can even try to steal it. She always carries around a bag filled with parchments, and has a rainbow colored feather tucked behind her ear.
Ice Shards
1-A male unicorn in his teen years. Light grey coat (a little darker than Derpy's), a light blue mane and tail. He has blue eyes and his eyes glow slightly a light blue when he concentrates very hard on a spell. His cutie mark is a big blue star in the center. Right below it is a smaller light blue star and two small light blue stars above the first one. The mane and tail are generally straight but uncombed and natural.
2-Can be shy toward ponies he doesn't know, but will be nice to others and gives help when needed. He enjoys listening to calm music when he can and often goes to Canterlot to listen to Octavia and her band. During his free time he walks to Ponyville park to lay on the grass and relax for a while and at night, he goes there to gaze upon the stars. If he is yelled at by a pony he knows or doesn't know, he will generally back away from them and lose his ability to speak. When he tries to solve a problem wether it is his or somepony else's, he may pace back and forth and monolog to himself possibilities of solutions. When speaking, he uses vocab from time to time that few ponies understand. If he is talked to by somepony he doesn't know he may say, "Oh, hello, my name's Ice Shards," if the certain pony seems friendly to him. If the pony is buff or mean looking, he may say, "U-um... hi, d-did you n-need something?" When he faces enemies, he won't attack first, he first attempts to surrender and his second option is to run. He will fight back if he needs to, he just doesn't want to.
3-He is a student for Canterlot's magic school for Talented Unicorns. He also researches abnormal events and makes attempts at finding a way to travel through time for longer periods than Star Swirl the Bearded was able to find. (If you want to, you could say he knows Doctor Whooves is a time traveler and could try following him). He reports any of his findings to his Canterlot recorder. Lives in Ponyville to get closer to the Everfree forest for his research of mysterious creatures and plants. He is often seen in town carrying or reading a book. His cutie mark represents his magical abilities and his love for sci-fi books involving space, (His cutie mark is stars). He lives with his unicorn friend Nova Rain. She is a blue unicorn with hair colored like Colgate's, but different mane style. Her cutie mark is a rain cloud because she has a strange ability to walk on clouds without magic despite being a unicorn.
4-He was born in Ponyville and lived there with his parents for most of his life and his best friend was and still is Nova Rain. His family moved to Canterlot and he studied a lot on magic. His parents noticed his interest in magic and listed him for Canterlot's magic school for Talented Unicorns. He is an "A" student in all of his subjects except for alchemy. Princess Celestia saw his high grades and thought he was a great student, (Nowhere close to Twilight's level of course). She knew his alchemy grade was low, so she saw it best for him to go to Ponyville to practice his alchemy with the Everfree plants. He also took this chance he was given to earn some bits for studying the creatures in Everfree Forest. He has visited Zecora multiple times and she has helped him improve.
