Status on new Royal Duties Chapter · 1:09pm Aug 2nd, 2013
It's.... Been started. I have a little over a page of work and sadly that's it. (I'm going to ramble a bit, but I do talk about hope for a chapter this week)
Like my last blog post said, on Tuesday two co-workers got sick and called out. This meant someone had to close. That ended up being me. I also worked at 8am the next day. So I get home about 11:30 or so and basically can't stay up long as I need to go back to sleep for work the next day.
Cue next day, I go in to clean the ovens as I usually do on Wednesdays, and another co-worker ends up not showing up because they are sick and I get stuck doing their job of prepping meat all morning. Not my favorite job, but whatever. Then I get stuck on drive tru, which well... sucks.
Yes my job is at a fast food place. Sadly my life is not very exciting.
Anyway, the issue is I was so exhausted upon getting home that I ended up either napping, or just staring at the screen blankly for the rest of the night. I didn't have much time yesterday either with the anime stream my roommate and I run.
However, because I worked that closing shift, and I'm still suppose to close tonight and Sunday, that would give me a ton of overtime and my boss obviously is trying to find a way to keep my hours around 40. So I MIGHT get either some of today, or Sunday off. If this happens I'll be able to get the chapter out. If it DOESN'T. Well... There is always next Monday/Tuesday...
