So I had written about 4000 more words for a new chapter of "Like Shattered Glass" last night, when lo and behold, the power decides to zap out. Since I had the brilliant idea of working on the new chapter from a desktop and on a word document, I lost pretty much everything except for the 1500 words or so I already had before. Had I been working on my laptop as usual, I would most likely have a whole new chapter updated by now, but since I'm a very special individual, that's not going to happen.
I expect there to be a delay of at least another couple of days, because after that happened I sort of felt like somebody slapped me in the face with a fire extinguisher and I don't feel up to the task of re-writing everything just yet. Sorry, ladies and gents.

Somewhat, I do a lot of my writing on Fimfic itself, and I had pretty much finished it. When I browsed from the page with out saving 
But on your Desktop, give OpenOffice a try. it has a auto backup feature on it. If you loose power, or crash or something, it should ask if you wanna open the last auto backup.
