Hey everyone! Gosh, I haven't made a blog post in a while. Mostly because I'm still sick. Doctor has no idea what's causing it, though. Luckily, it's not too invasive that I can't write. I was also suffering from a severe mental illness called Steam Summer Sale, which really damaged my wallet, but I'm sure it'll recover.
As (some of) you might have noticed, I finished Louder Than Words yesterday. Yay! Overall, I'm... satisfied, but not happy with the end product. It's got good ratings, but it's not at the same level as My Little Changeling, and the ending was a bit rushed. It's not that I didn't enjoy writing it, I just wanted to wrap it up. Y'see, Equestria Daily's next flash fic event starts today. Or tomorrow. Timezones, whatever. Anyway, the hint towards the subject is 'swiss cheese', so you know what that means.

Oh, wait, no, I mean changelings. And I like changelings (no, really), so I'll be participating. Expect to see a short fic soon! After that, I'm going to the big Dutch meet on saturday, where there may or may not be a fanfiction competition, which I told people I would participate in, much to their chagrin. If it happens, I'll upload my end result to the site.
And after that, I'll be away for a while. Away to Bronycon! I've got everything taken care of, except the very last details. It's going to be exciting! It'll be my first time ever in America, my first time ever at a big con, and my first time ever going on holiday with just my brother. He's going to the con as well, though he's not a big fan of the show (only a little), so try not to creep him out, will ya? You can creep me out just fine, though. I'll be walking around a lot and going to see panels. Actually speaking on a panel sounds like fun, but that wouldn't exactly be a good idea on my first con/trip to America/you get what I mean. If you see me (check the name tag), don't hesitate and come say hello! If you're stuck at a table somewhere because you're vending or something, drop me a comment somewhere, so I can come visit you instead.
Don't expect a whole lot out of me, though: I'm a socially awkard, introverted dork, and events like this tire me out rather quickly. I may be one of the most popular authors on the site (#44 right now, holy moly!), I'm still human! Last time I checked I was, at least. Hmmm... Yep, still am. Sadly, I have not turned into a robot churning out fics. Or a changeling. Or I am, and I've just forgotten how to change back.
After Bronycon, I'll be heading to Washington D.C. for a few days to do some sightseeing, and I'll be back home on the 10th of August. What am I going to do then? Write, of course! I'm going to start working on Suncloak's third story when I get back. I already have sort of an idea where I'm going to get cover art, and after that, I only need to write the whole thing out. The story outline is mostly finished, but if I know me (and I do), some stuff will change down the line anyway. Louder Than Words went through about three different versions, one in the middle of writing, before becoming what it is now.
Now you know for sure that I am truly a great writer and not some shmuck flailing about, making stuff up as he goes. No sir-ee.

Hm. I can't find a link for EqD's flash fic. I've just started, 'Changelings, Love and Lollipops' last night, and I might be able to get it done in time.
