Belgian tries his hand at animating... and drawing. · 11:44pm Jul 9th, 2013
So yeah, I tried animating in Flash for my next PMV: Shooting Star.
I used one of those puppets, and overall I'm pretty proud of my work.
Sure, it's not 'show' stuff, but for the first time using Flash, I think I did quite alright.
The only real complaint that I have, is that, at the end, I can't get the 'Y' of 'today' right. Ah well, Other things will be happening in that scene, so people won't really notice. Also, don't mind the sound quality, I still have to change that in After Effects.
I've also tried to draw ponies today. Now, my whole life I've been a very bad draftsman, like so bad it would set your eyes aflame. But now, I've amazed myself. The tutorials on how to draw ponies are really good, and with effort and time, I'll improve. I still have major problems with the ponies' ears and legs, though. Damn you, ponies, why do you have such weird legs? Sometime later this month, I'm going to buy a tablet, so I can draw on the computer and not just on paper.

In other news, Belgium has a new king, Philippe I. Do I care? Nope, I think the monarchy is something that belongs in the 18th century and I wish Belgium transforms into a republic soon.

1200306 I'm planning to buy a Bamboo WACOM CTH-470S Pen & Touch. It's really hard to find a drawing tablet in Belgium. This is one of the only ones I found. Maybe one day, when I'm more advanced at animating and drawing, we can do a collaborate project.
