A couple weeks back, I ended up getting this lovely Princess Luna figurine through a combination of luck and...well, just luck, mostly. And looking at her on the shelf with my other two Pony figures, I found a story coming together. But because I can't do anything simple--and because I'm determined that everything I post here be an experiment of one sort or another--I decided that this story would be an epyllion, a mini-epic more in the Alexandrian style than something all big and Homeric.
And the first book of that epyllion, titled The Laughter and the Night, is available on the other side of the link earlier in this sentence. Another two or three books should get it all told, I reckon, though I'm not doing a strict "chapter every 10 days" schedule on this one as I am with Cadance and Calling You. So look for Book II, oh, middle of the month maybe?
