Hey, Guys.
Since Wednesday, I've been feeling down, Because...Well...I've got some bad news that I'm pretty sure many of you know about.
Appearently, On the 25th of March, 2012, Sunday, Edd Gould, The creator of Eddsworld, Passed away at the age of 23, After a six year long battle with cancer. As Matt said in the video on Youtube, Edd was taken into a hospital with a fever, And his body just gave up.
Edd made many people around the world smile, And laugh, Including me. As it said in the video, Edd turned down many opportunities, Including one to have his very own TV show, Because he knew it would keep him away from you, The fans, His friends, And even his family.
Tom and Matt are very affected, As well as Edd's family. As Tom said in the Youtube vid, Edd left behind the 2nd half or part of the next episode, Which was a two parter, Which Tom says he promises to bring us, But right now, What we want is to mourn the loss of a great animator, And a good friend.
I never knew Edd personally. Just two years ago, I thought I added him as a friend on Facebook. Appearently, He was just some internet troll pretending to be Edd.
When I first heard about Eddsworld, I thought it would just be some stupid internet thing. But as I watched his vids, I became one of his fans, And loved them.
I always wanted to go to Britain to meet Edd, Tom, And Matt.
The reason I've been feeling down since Wednesday, Is because that's when I heard the news.
I was on my phone, Watching Youtube, Then my sister walks in and says that Edd died. And she didn't even feel sad about it! Wtf!
I was also mad at myself for not knowing this. I knew this 3 days after he died. I wanted to see if my sister was kidding, So I went to Youtube, And check the Eddsworld channel. She was right. My nightmare came true. I swear, I had a dream where Edd died. Turns out, It came true... :(
But, As Tom said at the end of the video: Edd may be gone, But his world will keep on spinning.
