Hi everyone.
So I haven't been updating in quite a while now. Here I'm mainly talking about Dreaming of Paws, but I'm also referring to A Tale of Magic... yeah, does anyone else remember that old thing? If you do; Hello old-timer! You've most likely been here from the beginning, or maybe you've found it simply by looking on my profile-page ('cus it sure as hell never got featured... not that I ever thought it would anyways but that's beside the point).
Dreaming of Paws is simply a matter of too many ideas, too little time and too little motivation to continue. Thus I have come to the decision:
Dreaming of Paws, a Chessverse story, will be going on hiatus for a while.
And as if that wasn't enough to ruin your day (I kid, I kid), I have decided on something big. I hurts me to do this, as it's been my baby pretty much since I started on the site. I uploaded it on my third day on Fimfiction.net. My first attempt at storytelling and writing.
I have chosen to discontinue A Tale of Magic.
If you're actually enjoying the story, I'm sorry. But I have long since lost the passion for writing that particular story. I had great ideas for it, which to this day is still embedded in my head.
But in the end; it never went anywhere. And what's more was that it was my own fault.
For now I will put it out of it's misery and continue moving forward. You might ask me why I'm putting DoP on hiatus when I'm already discontinuing AToM? And you'd be right in doing so. I'm not gonna be writing DoP for a while, and even when I start writing it again, I won't do it full-time. It will be as it was meant to be; a resting place where I can write something funny for you to enjoy. Not my major focus. With that I'm also not gonna be in canon anymore. Not that it's too hard for me to do so, but I won't keep the others down by not writing for a while. I want them to do what they want to do without me dragging them down.
So what will I be doing while I'm away from DoP? I'll be doing what I haven't been doing in a while: Read fanfiction and comment on them on this site! That's right! I'm going back to my roots. Remember the time where people remembered me from commenting on everything? I was on every single chapter of Coal Buck's 'My Second Life'. People knew me and I constantly meet new people everywhere and gained a ton of friends. Some of those people is today some of my closest comrades.
I want that again.
So that's why I'm semi-stepping out of the writer-cave again and into the light of the reader/commenter.
Why 'semi'? That's for me to know and you to go nuts thinking about.

YES! That's why I followed you, we were kindred commentators, plowing through fanfiction (though you did far more plowing then I, I was far more respectful and bought dinner and brought flowers).

Today I learned that if I want to write I need to find a cave. No wonder I can't do shit for plotting.

But if I get a cave, I may write one of 4 ideas I have bouncing in my head. Then I will have stress about finishing them all and if the readers think it is any good. As well as the stress while self editing and hoping my writing is witty enough for all the smart people yet doesn't leave the idiots or those who can't use Google in the dust.
That just does not sound like fun, and yet I am considering it.

Yeah! Finally! I remember you and I going back and forth on several different fics! Glad to have you back, mate! (Can I harass you to maybeh read my Pokemon crossover, since you'll be reading more stories?
