Last chapter on Friday! (pushed it back a day because I want time to make it as good as I can.) · 1:55pm May 29th, 2013
Well, it wouldn't be the ending to Tarnished Silver without one more delay, would it? I want the finale to be as good as I can make it, so I decided it needed one more day to percolate. Hopefully it'll be worth the wait!
And now, for no reason whatsoever, have some barely-related Ask Tumblr links to keep you all occupied while I finish:
Mostly, I wanted to share this image from Ask Twist with everyone, because its adorableness made me rather happy:
I was also a little surprised by this one, because two of the favorite pastimes this artist assigns to Twist --stargazing and reading romance novels -- are ones that I thought up for her back during the early chapters of Twisted. Were these traits always fanon without me realizing it? Or did both of us just have the same ideas independently? Or did the ideas I had just leak into the fanon over time? Who knows? I actually think the third possibility is the least likely, but it certainly is interesting how popular perceptions of a character can change over time. In any case, I felt strangely proud to see Twist looking at stars in fanart, even if I probably had nothing to do with it.
As long as I'm babbling about Tumblr, you may want to check out this lovely ask blog featuring two rich little fillies you might be familiar with. Take a look at the first post and you should be able to figure out why I like it. It's not quite NSFW, but it is rather suggestive.
Oh, and lastly, I should mention this blog, which is the source of my avatar and several very cute Silver Spoon images I've used over time.
Okay, time to write a bit more before work! Wait, is this seriously what I do with my mornings now.
It is nice to see another fan of Bob's Burgers, although, does your use of that episode mean you're planning to do a public reading of Tainted Silver somewhere? Because that's what all the big name authors do: public readings.
Think about it.
Come tomorrow (hehheh, come) the real question becomes 'how long can Ham resist the siren song of the sequel with a guaranteed audience?'
