I've been writing up a storm of late, but not quite where I had expected all of it to go. I'm still working on "Summers Past"--still planed to be the direct sequel to "Misperceptions"--but it's taking forever to settle down. I've written about 10k words that have put aside for now. Lots of good ideas but not quite right just yet, the problem is keeping the balance between the events of the present and the past, and the past plays a major part in this story. Expect lots of flashbacks.
To try and lighten my own mood I've started on a new story that will fit between "Misperceptions" and "Summers Past", and while it's not a sequel it will it will still feature Twi/Gilda but the main focus will be on Rarity and try to be a bit closer to original flavor. The working title is "The Dog Days of a Fashionable Unicorn", though that is also subject to change.
As an aside, I've also been planing a few other stories, so as a teaser have some titles:
"Master of None"
"Eliza Grey"
"Aurora"
"Partygeddon"
"Brightest Day"
I have no idea which of these stories will be written and in what order...
well I liked this story not sure why maybe because I like wield twilightX ships.

1311237 Also it wasnt a doom and gloom shipfic. Normal ships between weird couples normally end up doom and gloom.

I'm not a huge fan of doom and gloom, though that's not to say the relationship will be perfectly smooth. You can't have to people with issues like Twilight (over the top anxiety) and Gilda (depression and self hatred) without some problems, but they are also the sort that can find there way through it.

Oh yeah, that's not my sort of style. I want them to end up healthy, happy and wise. it might take a while to get there, but that would be the goal.
1315003 Then you are going to be one of my favorite authors. I don't like those dark romance fics where bad stuff happens but you can't find hardly any anymore that isn't in some way like that.

Then I hope I can keep up the quality work. :) The next story I'm working on, while having Gilda/Twilight in it doesn't focus on them. It's more like the show and Gilda gets to see one of the crazy adventures. The story after that is going to be focused on them again and we'll get to see some of Gilda's backstory. Hope you like them both once they are posted. ;)
