Chapter 7 is out! +FUN! [Update 6?!?] · 12:40am May 11th, 2013
So yeah! I know I said I'd take a few days off from writing after I had put it out, but at nearly 100 views and I figured I'd start working on the next chapter once the counter clicked over!
Anyway, just a fun thing I wanted to post. Thanks for making Merchants of Hope a success and I hope you all are enjoying it!
[May 12th: So I haven't had any progress on chapter eight, mostly due to a separate story idea I had in my head for the Fallout: Equestria group's 500 member contest. I sat down earlier and wrote it all out, so I should finally be able to actually focus on Backlash and friends. I will be posting the short story if you want to read it once Bad Pun has had a chance to look it over. I will warn you though, it is a darker, more serious story than Merchants of Hope. I'll have another update on chapter eight in the next few days like normal, thanks for reading!]
[May 14th: It's been a couple of hectic days and I haven't had much time to work on the story. I plan to sit and write over the next few days, hopefully I can at least get a good chunk of what I have planned out. Sorry that it's taking so long everypony.]
[May 15th: So it seems I've hit my first real creative block. Over the last 36 hours I've gotten out maybe 2,000 words and I am half tempted to just delete what I have and start chapter 8 fresh. I'll keep at it but I don't think I'll get much progress tonight. Hopefully when Bad Pun gets home I can bounce some things back and forth to him to get a breakthrough. More news in a couple of days, until then, stay awesome.]
[May 18th: I really hate this block. Days in and I'm sitting at just over 8,000 words. I'm shooting to have the chapter in the hooves of Bad Pun by Monday, but DEAR CELESTIA THIS SUCKS. Another update by then.]
[May 20th: Good news everypony! I just finished writing chapter 8 and will be handing it over to Bad Pun sometime tonight! Sorry it's taken so long, I'm really hoping this whole block thing doesn't turn out to be the new supervillain for the story. Anywho, be on the look out for the new blog I will put up when I post chapter 8!]
[May 25th: Due to an unfortunate set of events at his workplace and a ridiculous amount of other life crap, Bad Pun has yet to get to Chapter 8. Hold tight though, it's coming... soon.... I hope!]
