502 Bad Gateway: A Story Idea · 1:18am May 8th, 2013
Twilight Sparkle has finally done the impossible. She has read every book in Equestria. But she wants more! Writers around the world just cannot keep up with demand, so she formulates a plan! Twilight Sparkle has read much about the possible existence of other alternate realities, from her books, and also a lot of speculation on how one might go about actually traveling to these worlds. Of course, no one has actually developed a working spell to accomplish this. But no one else was Twilight Sparkle, the Element of Magic, and an alicorn to boot!
This is a silly story idea inspired by the “502 Bad Gateway” error. This could in-fact work well for the Title of such a story. The twist in the story is, of course, that she gets a 502 error when making the gateway. Hmm, that just means it don't work, right? Well, maybe that's not the case exactly; other things could go wrong too. What sort of trouble might she get into? Will she ever actually find a library in an alternate reality?
Anyone is welcome to write this into a story of their own. I do not require, or even want, credit for it. I imagine this would work well as a short Comedy, or even a slightly longer Comedy, or even a serialized series of adventures (which just so happen to be funny)!
Perhaps a smidgeon cliche, but oh well…

I thought of a story with alicorn Twilight right after the episode, but i did not have an FimFiction account at the time and i did not know how to go about telling someone about it. I posted a Youtube comment about it and a guy told me it was probably already done, so i just left it there.

Name: Twilight the Dictator
Description: The princesses have left Twilight to go to an important meeting in the griffon empire. While they are away Twilight must govern Equestria in their place. However Discord convinces her that she has to be 'strict' if she wants to make the princesses happy and to maintain the stability of Equestria.
