Deterrence [Tr][Adv] Armies from the Griffin and Minotaur kingdoms have been gathering at Equestria's borders. Equestria hasn't kept a standing army in over 700 years, so Celestia hatches a plan; if she can create a superweapon capable of scaring her neighbors, then she may be able to stop this war before it begins.

She has no choice but to ask Princess Twilight Sparkle. As Celestia teaches her faithful student War Magic, the strain on both of them and the dire consequences that result is something that she never could have predicted.

Living Bad Dreams [Da][Adv] One night after her nightly patrol, Luna exits the world of dreams and something follows her out. She is too shocked by its appearance and lets it escape. She doesn't know what to do, but the next night it's become clear that the thing is still alive and it is eating ponies' dreams.

Luna has to catch and kill the monstrosity before it damages her reputation, or far worse, the very mental fabric of Equestria. Unwilling to admit her mistake to her sister, she turns to Twilight Sparkle for help. But as they hunt the monstrosity night after night and fail to capture it, Luna begins to fear Twilight Sparkle's judgement far more than her sister's.

Astronomic Changes [Adv][Au]; First story in a Shared Universe where Twilight earned her cutie mark in astronomy, and where Luna never was Nightmare Moon, among numerous other deviations.

Twilight has been observing a curious phenomenon in the night sky; one of the constellations is breaking, it's stars blinking out one-by-one. The day before Twilight is scheduled to move to Ponyville for a research trip, Luna reveals an ancient secret. This constellation isn't merely a collection of stars, but a prison, and the only thing that can stop it's occupant is the Elements of Harmony.

Twilight vows to help stop this threat, but when her first encounters in Ponyville are a peppy pink pegasus, a rainbow-colored fangirl, and a gem-obsessed chef, she begins to have doubts about the supernatural properties of interpersonal relationships.

More detailed synopses may be found here and here.

All details tentative. None of these will get written for a while, ideally not until I finish one of my ongoing fics, although clearly I've started on some of them mentally. All three target an ongoing issue with my writing; perspective.

I mostly write these things to help organize my own thoughts, but if any passerby feels compelled to chime in please do so.
