Optimal Update Time.... Failed.

Spoilers for Our Time to Fly, chapter 7 and 8! Read before you proceed!

I said I'd update two weeks later, but as a gift to a friend, I went a week early. I am no good at this schedule doo-hickey stuff, I've no patience for it! I'm not even sure if it'll count as a good gift thus far, as the only one who has read it doesn't even like MLP. She liked it, but... whose to say? Friends are the worst for lying to you, after all. They care enough to do so!
Also, as I said in the author notes, this was Sweetie Belle's last ride until the epilogue, which is fair I guess because the epilogue centers around her. The Cutie Mark Crusaders have officially parted ways now, there's no going back. An entire era of their life is over and there's a new one on the horizon! I'd like to pursue it, but if I did this tale I'm weaving will never end, because there's always a new land's end to chase down. And so it is with sweet sorrow I say good bye to our most dear member of the crusader three. Farewell to thee, may your path wind forever on!

So now my readers will see why I split chapter 7 and 8 into chapter 7 and 8 rather than leaving it as chapter 7. So much reading it was ridiculous, but more than that, it was the subject matter! We're talking about Spike coming back from the edge, learning to fly, getting closer with Scootaloo, revealing Twilight's form of mothering care, his first love scene with Rarity (when he first fell in love with her) Scoot's reasons, Twilight's need for assistance, resolving things with the manticore, party/festival making and description, Three heart string pulling good bye's, introduction of the sky board, introduction of Snips, subtle reminder of what Snails is going through, introduction of Spike's calling, Spike's deception, Rarity's returned feelings, and finally her encouragement.
that's what I had in the huge one before I split it up.
It was kinda overwhelming.

My view counts are halfway to feature decent in size, someday I may just hit the same numbers I would have if I had laid claim onto that precious feature box. I'm just doing it more gradually, which suits me just fine. I always seem to find myself taking the hard route, welp! Just means I get to fight harder, write better, and make sure I try my best to crawl to the top!
