Hey new blog! Why? To give you people the false sense that something important updated. So if you're disappointed...now you know how your parents feel.
I feel like I've put this off for quite awhile, assuming people actually read this garbage, but i figure I'd at least give people a reason to follow me since i obviously don't write shit. So I'll try to keep this informative.
So awhile back i was poking around some profile pages, when I stumbled upon this gem. It's written by kits, and if you don't know kits then you obviously don't twidash, and if you don't twidash you ain't no friend of mine.(if you started doing the safety dance 10 internets go to yoo) Any who, it's basically a nifty guide to romance and how to make it real and believable. I think every writer should take a gander at it, whether they ship or not.
Since I'm linking shit kits also has one on dialogue. All of you should read this. Yes, even you, you little narcissistic egotistical douche bag.
So the informative stuff is out of the way. Good. Hmm, what's going on. Oh i picked up a new writer CalmNQuiet. Though I'm only doing one of his stories atm, but it's another twidash that is graced with my fingers....that sounded creepy, meh I'll leave it. I also dropped one of my writers.....and then picked him back up again. It's complicated......maybe.
Hmm....what else. There's been a serious lacking in good twidash as of late, but I guess me getting to read bats' "super secret" story scene by scene holds me over...a bit.
Oh yeah, and Peroth is writing again. Don't know if it's true but I'l totally take the credit for making that happen. Whatever helps my fragile ego.
I'll wrap up with some editor tips. Think of them as my gift to you, the lesser people that is not me.
Capitalize 'Dash' in 'Rainbow Dash.' Is it really that hard? Oh and for the love of god don't put 'Rainbowdash.' It's two words shit-face
DO NOT capitalize the word 'pegasus'. I know what you're thinking "But Ech...Word says you do." No shit. That's because 'Pegasus' is THE name for the magical flying horse in Greek mythology. I mean did you even stop to wonder why 'unicorn' or 'mudpony' isn't capitalized? No you probably didn't. You probably didn't even re-read what you typed. Just hit that magical spellcheck button, and you've got words of gold.....Dick head.
Lastly, we need more Scootabelle. It's basically Twidash: The Next Generation. Write it.

I completely concur with both of Kits' blogs.
I like how your editing tips were things I've done on accident (although I don't think I've ever typo'd Rainbowdash).
Would you prefer I wrote multiple scenes and kept them off gdocs until there's a more reasonable chunk of reading to put up all at once? Since, you know, this scene by scene multiple times a week isn't doing it for you.

Not on purpose, but yes. The Rainbow dash is especially easy for me to miss, since all that needs to happen is me not pressing down on the shift key hard enough/letting go too soon. And since it doesn't squiggly, I don't really notice and speed read over it most of the time. I didn't assume you were talking directly about me, but it's still amusing that I've made those mistakes.

I'm in agreement on every aspect of this. Especially the Scootabelle part.
