    Merry Christmas, all!

My track record with Christmas releases is no longer perfect, but I do try! Only one 5k chapter of Sharing the Nation this year, though I'm hoping to have 5k more out before the new year. To make up for it, though, I've also brought out the Harry Potter crossover that's been languishing in

    Nothing this year, sorry

Man, this has been… a year. Shortly after my last blog post, I had some (non-covid) medical issues that somewhat took over my life for a while, and while that's all in the past now, I'm only back where I was beforehand—completely unproductive. I was determined to get back into things at NaNoWriMo, but work steamrolled those plans and I just haven't been able to find the words to write something

More burned out than I thought

Jeeze, it's been four months since I decided not to force myself to generate updates for the sake of Patreon and gave myself the freedom to write whatever I wanted… but I haven't really written anything. I've done a thousand words or so here and there to play around with other fandoms, but nothing of significance.

    Shocking, I know.

Tis the season for status updates. Not as much the other kind of updates as I would like, though

It wouldn't be Christmas if I hadn't been completely incommunicado for at least a month or two beforehand, right?

Unfortunately, I don't have chapters of Sharing the Nation to post for Christmas this year. I do have some Equal Opportunity Ascension chapters that only Patreon has seen, and I'll post those, I guess, but it's clear this… isn't working.

    Christmas Updates!

    Merry Christmas!

As I've done every year since I started writing, I have updates here for you on Christmas day.

( It might look like there's a missing one, but the chapter for Sharing the Night that year was taken down and reposted)

Is anyone interested in a custom layout for the Fimfiction.net front page? · 9:07am Apr 11th, 2013

So, I made this thing for my own personal use. It's a custom layout for the front page (and only the front page, note) of the site that shows all the featured stories at once and displays the "popular stories" with larger covers below that. The layout dynamically shifts for use on lower resolutions without losing any content.

The catch is, I had to resort to javascript to move a few things, allow the user to expand the featured stories for their full descriptions, and fetch the larger covers for the merely popular stories. Technically, it actually works okay without javascript; the site news box and popular stories are simply not displayed in that case, and the featured stories cannot be expanded.

So, the question is, is anyone interested enough for me to bother cleaning it up and testing it for public release? More importantly, would you install a greasemonkey script in order to use it?

(No, I didn't do this instead of starting on Sharing the Night: Chapter 8 :trixieshiftright: I'm working on it!)

Swanky:moustache:
I already run a few greasemonkey scripts for Fimfiction, so one more won't hurt.

Greasemonkey is already installed on my comp, so I wouldn't mind installing another script.

Yeah, stick it up on Userscripts and people can use it.

The Dark Theme I would LOVE a NMM or Luna colour theme more than a Black Green

999058 Like?

I would do it. I think I have greasemonkey installed already anyway.

Already got greasemonkey for bunch of other sites, so I wouldn't mind another

YES. I'm especially interested in the dark theme.

Well, you can add one more to the list of people looking forward to installing this script. Thanks!

Shut up and take my money... I would gladly install another script. Rollin ponyhoof as it is and a few others.
