Hi there. You might have noticed a certain story of mine that went up last night involving you, Vinyl Scratch, and an intimate moment in the water closet. That is, an uncensored intimate moment in the water closet. That is, you watch her go potty.
I suppose I should explain myself. You see, right after I finished up Ponies Vs. Monsters, I came to the realization that I had no idea what to write next. Well, that's not entirely true; I had other ideas, but they really weren't so much "sensual" as they were "perverted". Most of them were excuse ideas to exploit some kink of mine, with little regard to plot or character, and as such, I couldn't bring myself to write them without feeling really silly. One such story, however, managed to lodge itself in the forefront of my mind, and when that happens, it's hard to get it out without acting upon it in some way.
I ended up divulging this to some of the SFG regulars on Skype, and to my surprise, they encouraged me to go for it. At first, I only wrote the story for two primary reasons. The first was to just get it out of my head. The second was out of curiosity. Watersports is rather scarce in the MLP fan community in both fics and pics, and I wanted to take a crack at seeing if I could write something that appealed specifically to it while still applying the techniques used in good sensual writing. I didn't plan on uploading this story anywhere but websites where I could do so anonymously, since this is something rather embarrassing to attach my name into, even if it's just a screenname. I ended up doing just that at first, uploading the story onto the clopfics directory with no username and a pastebin link. However, once I got more of the fic done, I realized that I didn't have anything to be ashamed of. I like what I like and write what I write. Shutting a part of me away because I don't think anyone else would approve doesn't do me any good.
I understand that this story won't be to everyone's tastes and I can't force anyone not into the subject matter to enjoy it. Still, I put the same amount of effort into this story as I have for others, so I do not regret writing it. Whether the community accepts it or not means...okay, it means a bit, but I won't hold a grudge either way.
Now with all that said, I'd like to go on record and say that I won't be switching to dirty fics from now on. So far, The Beat Stream is an exception to my "keep it sensual, not explicit" rule. While I will continue on writing the actual clop portion of the story (which will not contain any watersports and will be posted as a separate chapter), I also have an idea for a new story...kinda. I won't go into it right now, but I have already started writing the first scene for it, and I can promise that it won't contain anything that might leave a bad taste in someone's mouth. It's got a long ways before it's finished, but I'll work on chipping away at it whenever I can.

Good for you. While it's not the kind of thing I go for usually your fics are well-written and hold good plot and characters so that's what made me read it. I applaud you for not succumbing to the fear of persecution and insults you'll receive and that makes you a much stronger author than most
To each their own, I don't think it's my cup of tea, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't exist.

Dont care about that so much. There will always be guys who dont like what you write. I love your Storys. My favs are "A Story in All of Us" and "The Way to a Unicorn's Heart" and their sequels. Be yourself and write what you want and what you like.

I've read most of those already, and half of that list comes from one author who only appeared a few months ago. Before him, it was really hard to find a decent fic with watersports that wasn't paired with another kink that would turn me right off. I will admit that it's been popping up in clopfics more frequently than it used to, so I'm happy for that.
Also, thanks for all the positive comments, everyone. They help more than you think they do.

Just the titles there made me laugh, also, turns out you learn something new everyday (had no clue "watersports" referred to something other then sports with a boat).
Though I have not read this latest creation, I feel I should considering "The Way to a Unicorn's Heart" (the most direct way being through her chest) single hoofedly shot Twilight to my favorite of the Mane 6.

Surprisingly, that is almost exactly how I felt, minus the tux.
I've loved all your fics so far I doubt a little watersports will stop that. While it is not a kink I enjoy it doesn't bother me any so I will most def be reading the beat stream when it is completed also you are awesome!
