Hum... That's interesting · 10:07pm Mar 21st, 2013
Much to my own surprise, It looks like Misperceptions has ended much earlier then I had anticipated that it would. I still have a lot more planed, but the story as it stands has reached a very natural conclusion with about 9 to 10 chapters (depending on if I split the last one or not). The main reason the story has come to an end is that it wraps up the major themes it was exploring, to the point that it flows naturally into a friendship report.
That being said, I still have a lot planned related to Gilda's past, her family history and titles. It would be logical to move that into it's own story, shifting them theme and tone accordingly while still expanding on the events of the first story. It also solves the major problem I had in transitioning between story sections.
For now I'm still planning on posting a chapter ever week, give or take, until the current story is finished. I'll start posting the next one (Tentatively titled "Summers Past") right after that.
