Banishment Decree Progress and random stuff. · 3:11pm Mar 14th, 2012
I've currently got 4500 words of written-up stuff. Unfortunately, 3500 words of those do not fit into the current chapter. Fortunately, I've got a solid idea of where the hell I'm going with the current chapter, and it's simmering along nicely.
So that's good.
Other stuff:
The comments I've got since the last chapter update and the EqD upload have been fantastic. I have awesome readers. Please keep it up!
So many tracks. I think I had about fifty tracks on Sunday afternoon, just before it went to EqD. This was from the three and a half months it's been up. Since Sunday evening, I now have 184 tracks. Jeebus. They're trickling in now, but I'm still getting a good track per hour.
Finally, as you all know I like to stuff Banishment Decree full of references and randomly sourced homages to other stuff. I call them homages, less kind individuals might call it borderline plagarism. I've mentioned a few in the comments to BD. The biggest most shameless one is actually in the prologue, and I'm surprised no one has called me out on it yet. Internet hugs to the first person to figure out what I'm alluding to.

You're progress is awe inspireing in a sence. I've been so busy I can't put a single word into my next chapter and I fear that I may soon lose intrest in the whole project completely. I found a bit on ED as of recently and may post there soon myself. Heres hoping you get more tracks bro

The 3500 words were actually done about two weeks back, they were meant to be part of chapter six. You'll see why I haven't included them in chapter seven when it's out
All I've written today is 300 words....

If you find yourself in a writing rut, I highly recommend this guide on how to finish your novel (or fanfic as the case may be). There's some advice in there that's really helped me get through banishment decree.
Also if it's any help, I'm a HUGE fan of Wings, I think you have a great portrayal of Gilda, you've actually made a decent HiE fic (I'm planning to start one of my own after Banishment Decree) and I'd love to give you a plug in the authors notes... AS SOON AS YOU FINISH THE NEXT DAMN CHAPTER!

That guide is a wonderful little tool i might say though I've already identified my problem and am currently working to rectify the situation. Truth is im working on about five story related projects at once... And Mass Effect 3 which doest help but that didn't stop me from being a dick and killing the Quarians. Yea! Team Geth FTFW! I just need some free time is all.
