Well, with Midnight gone, I wonder what is to be done with Bronze's tale?

I mean I have most of the first part finished. I have the basic outline of what I wanted to do, but now I wonder if it's even worth it?

Midnight wrote some of the only TCB I still cared about, and now that he's gone, that means no more Edge, no more Summer Glenn... While I can write my part of her story, nothing will ever be done after that. I'm not even sure he'll keep 'A Twist in the Tail' up for long. >_<

Well this just sucks all kinds of stupid. We can't just write make believe stories and have fun can we? No we have to get all this fucking drama going.

You know what I'm doing right now? I'm re-writing Fragments of Regret. Why? Because something happened with TCB stories that pissed me off, and I want people to realize something about the concept:

NOTHING is set in stone. HLF? PER? Equestria taking over, ETC. These are all GUIDELINES. TCB doesn't have to have any of that. The reason I was so fascinated by the concept was because it was like an open playground for me to do as I desired with. Fragments was me having fun with the concept. Why not magical humans? Why not a hidden danger to ponification? Why not create my own world with the few ideas established and given from the original works?

I admit I go carried away with chapter 9 and have since retconned that completely. I know what it was I wanted to do with the story originally and I'm remaking it so it does just that.

I admit that I feel alienated from those who write for TCB. Neither the old group nor Chatoyance's new group really makes me feel welcome, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit depressed that I'll probably never feel like I fit in with the community anymore.

But I guess such is the way of things. I only hope in time Midnight returns to his stories in the conversion bureau universe, because I for one am a big fan of them.
