    New Account on Literotica!

So, I have a new account on Literotica.com. I'm writing a new story on it called "The Dragon's Slave", in which the protagonist is enslaved to a dragon, and while it is at first a slavery that has him just doing tasks and whatnot, it eventually becomes a slavery that has him "pleasuring" the dragoness - as well as cuddling with her.

    Taking a Huge Ass Break

Yes, I am going to take a break from the writing for a while. Why? Here's a list:

Independent Project for Senior year of Highschool (on M-Theory)
Psychology research paper (on learned aggression)
English research paper (on stem cell research)
    Starbound
    Fallout 3
Terraria (still haven't beaten wall of flesh - there's actually a funny story behind that, but I'll tell that another time)

I Might Start Doing Let's Plays!

Yes, I might start doing let's plays of my favorite games. Due to the shit quality of my laptop, I'd have to start on smaller games, such as Ib or Mad Father. (It's going to primarily be horror games.)
Anyway, if you guys would like to watch me make a fool out of myself on the internet, just tell me and I'll start doing said let's plays. Because...fuck it, I dunno.

    New Story is Out! Yay!

    The Human Side of Things

This is a HiE fiction that follows the path of Off the Record, but in a slightly different way.
The main plotline is just Peter Kenpachi-Ramasama living in Equestria. It's basically a sandbox story, and it's meant to be stupid and funny.
Also, there's a lot of cursing in it.

I found out why I get writer's block... · 11:05pm Feb 27th, 2013

First off, I don't actually get writer's block.
It's just that I get so many ideas at once, that I don't know which one to write about!
And I can't fit them all into the same chapter, which is the worst part. If they were the least bit related, I could, but none of them are!
Plus, I have a big problem with thinking that my audience is comprised entirely of fucking idiots.
Now, I know that you're not. But when I write, I feel like I have to make certain things painfully obvious or you wouldn't get them. For example, this:

I stare into the dark abyss, bemoaning my fate and those that set it upon me.

Turns into this:

I stare into the dark abyss of death, depression running its course as I watch my future unfurl before me, becoming a sheet of blood spilled by those who wish to see me in pain.

Yeah, the second one sounds great, but it makes the subtleties in the first one SO FUCKING OBVIOUS.
Also, did you know that I was afraid that I wouldn't get the point across that Rainbow Dash had a crush on Peter during the hospital chapters? Yeah. I think that you're THAT kind of stupid.
I hope you're insulted because, quite frankly, you should be.

I don't even read your stories anymore.

Your audience is dependent on writing style. If you write for the idiots then you will get the idiots.

True to be honest I understood your first sentence. But you can't entirely blame them some people just aren't great readers.

871520 That's true...
Alright, no more writing for the idiots.
Thank you! :pinkiehappy:

I'm pretty sure that makes ME the idiot...

871889 Nah. I've done proofreading for plenty of people who do that. Heck if I could write well enough to publish I would do it. You just don't want to lose your audience and sometimes you overcompensate.

872761 That's exactly true.
Like, I'm thinking of having Peter substitute for Cheerilee in the next chapter, for shenanigans (spoilers, btw) but each time I try to introduce that idea, I wonder: "but what if they don't get why he's not going to see the 'special guest' Celestia's bringing?"
That's because he plans things out, but when it comes to doing them, he's a shithead and prioritizes the wrong things.
And I don't know how to show that other than blatantly saying it :raritydespair:

You, are calling me stupid?
You are an American, need i say more?

So I am an idiot? Let me see... IQ of 143...

:trollestia:

But I don't understand you saying 'Plus, I have a big problem with thinking that my audience is comprised entirely of fucking idiots.
Now, I know that you're not. But when I write, I feel like I have to make certain things painfully obvious or you wouldn't get them.', compared to this 'Yeah. I think that you're THAT kind of stupid.
I hope you're insulted because, quite frankly, you should be.'

So... your readers are and are not idiots? Or they just can't understand how characters feel for other characters? :twilightsheepish:
