I feel like I should start every blog of mine with a Skype screencap.
Should provide you lot with some lulz.
Anyways.
I'm not going to dwell on the episode too much, but I was okay with it. The problem was it was basically two episodes mushed into a single 21-minute slot. There's a very obvious line where Larson ends and Hasbro begins.
One thing I noticed was a distinct lack of draconequus, which surprised me. I mean, Discord being brought back by Celestia for some very important magical task, then when Celestia reveals a very important magical task, Discord is nowhere to be seen.
Bit odd that.
You know what I would've done?
Stuck Discord in Season 4.
Think about it. If we shoved his scaly ass back a few months, that would've freed up an episode here. One which would've allowed Mr Larson to do everything he wanted with the finale. Also, it means Discord might get the two-parter he so sorely needed
