...but every time I see someone complaining about how a show devoted to showing that friendship and understanding can change people for the better has jumped the shark because it had the utter gall to show someone changing for the better because someone tried to befriend and understand them, I want to reach through the computer screen and snap their neck.
Discord was handled too quickly, sure, but some people were complaining about Babs Seed, for goodness' sake. Sure, I grew up with some rotten kids, maybe some of them were even bad by nature, but everyone deserves a chance.
In story news, I haven't been motivated, and I'm not sure why. Bad mood, I guess. I really need to get something up soon.

): I thought that they moved too fast as well...and sure, I think that part of him wants to stay out of the statue, but I also think that Fluttershy did partially change him. Even if it's just because he wants to stay out of the statue/has become very fond of Fluttershy and considers her his only friend, he can be changed! After all, this is a child's show that teaches about friendship. ....Now, if this was a more adult show, I'd be ranting like crazy. However...their friendship is really cute.
Motivation? You as an writer have to do your duty and fill in the gap left by the finale out with fanfics! It is what we all must do while we wait on the new season!
