So, apparently I have my own little following, and I've yet to do anything! Wow, talk about a sincere welcoming by the Brony community! To think it all started with a song...
But, anyways, I just want to say that I feel bad that I'm reading all these juicy fictions, so I should make my own! Hopefully it turns out well.
Any advice before I start? It's a comedy with Twilight, Egoraptor and I. Don't tell Ego he's in it. He might kill me.

Advice? Hmm... Just make sure Twilight's smart, but gets frustrated when you make human references.
I'd link you to Mystery Pinkie Pie Theater 3000 for a good showing, but it was taken down for being too "meta" or something. Basically, MSTs aren't considered true fanfiction *eyeroll*Also, make sure to make new paragraphs for each new speaker. A lot of people make that mistake when writing their first fic (even I did, I will admit), and it's always a good idea to not fail with something so easily avoided.
Stock up on vocabulary words, if necessary. It's quite droll to read the words "he said", "she said", "the purple pony said", "that one guy said..." when you could juice it up with something as simple as "exclaimed", "whispered", or "rasped." This applies to every instance, not just the word "said."
Choose a tense, and stick with it. Don't mix past with present. It may work in a Doctor Who fic, but not anywhen else.

A comedy with Ego and you? I don't know. Sounds pretty risky. That's self-inserting and going into the dreaded human in Equestria zone that has been accused multiple times of just not being good storytelling. Comedies are a very hard thing to write, too. It is very hard being funny. Granted, this is something very common in Game Grumps, but it's one thing if you're just sitting around with a friend and trying to be funny, and sitting down to write and trying to be funny. I'm just a bit worried as to the success of this story.
