Well this story has been LONG over due... · 4:00am Jan 31st, 2013

No it's not My December.

Some of you may remember I wrote a guest chapter for Midnight Shadow's story 'A Twist in the Tail'

I hope he doesn't mind me doing this. (I don't think he follows me either, so I'm not sure if he'll find out)

That little detail sobered Bronze right up. “Tell what to the who now!?” She screamed. Summer tried to refrain from giggling. She remembered enough from her own little ‘mishap’ that it wasn’t funny to suddenly find yourself the other sex. It must be even harder for Bronze... For Summer it hadn’t been her fault, Rarity had grabbed the wrong ponification potion. For Bronze, ‘he’ had become drunk and done it to himself, well herself now.
“This... This is a dream right?” Bronze asked before covering her muzzle with her hooves. “Oh dear Celestia my voice! What happened to my voice!? I sound like a-”
“A Mare?” Summer finished while rolling her eyes. “Come now, you didn’t catch on to that the entire time we were talking?”
“I was sorta having a hangover okay!? I thought maybe my ears were just ringing or something. Besides, this is my first time getting drunk!”
“Oh!” Summer replied surprised, being Bronze was technically a sailor, she had figured he’d had his share of drinking before. Then again, he or rather she was a nurse. It would make sense that she’d avoid the stuff. “You seem to be sobering up rather quickly.”
“Well I suppose switching sex will do that to you.” Came Bronze’s sarcastic reply before the mare covered her mouth again. “Oh Dear Celestia and Luna! Even sarcastically I sound weird!” Bronze could hardly believe the light and airy voice he was using could possible come out of his mouth. No ‘her’ mouth she mentally corrected herself, no way a stallion would sound this cute. The thought gave her a headache, more so then what was left of her hangover.
“Summer?”
“Mm?”
“Is... Is there a mirror I can look in?”
Summer smiled. “I had a feeling you’d ask for one. I managed to get a full length one set up on the wall over there just for you.” Bronze slowly followed the direction of Summer’s hoof to see a tall oval mirror hung upon the wall to her right. Ironically, it was perfectly positioned in such a way that she couldn’t see herself in it unless she got closer.
Taking a deep breath she began to step toward it. Deliberately moving in such a way that it’d be impossible for her to see herself until she was directly before it. Bronze didn’t know what she was trying to accomplish with this, the very feel of her new body told her this wasn’t a dream. Now that she could think clearly, everything about her new form was becoming abundantly clear.
Well, here she was...
Before the mirror...
With her eyes closed...
She had to mentally scold herself, why was her heart beginning to race so? She was a mare, she knew that already. She even knew why it had happened. So, just what was she waiting for? Was she really that afraid of seeing the truth?
Tearing open her eyes she gasped at the reflection. Standing before her was a mare of such beauty. It couldn’t possibly be her standing there could it? The sexyness of those curves, the delicate frills of her mane, even her eyes seemed to take on a whole new image.
Unable to help herself, she lifted a hoof to see the reflection follow suit. In the background she could hear Summer stifle a giggle, causing her to blush. Dear Celestia her face when she blushed! She couldn’t believe she looked so...
So Cute!

“I’m... I’m a filly.” She said flatly.
“You look more a mare to me” Summer interjected.
“You know what I mean!” Bronze exclaimed with a shiver. Was she ever going to get us to this new voice of hers? Glancing back toward the mirror, she spent a few more moments admiring her new form. If only Grey Bolt could see her like this!
“Grey...” She croaked, a feeling of dread washing over her. Everything from last night came rushing back into her mind. The kiss, the pain, her running. All to come to a climax with her drinking that little green vial. How she wished now she had never taken it from Summer!
“Gah! I’m such an IDIOT!” She exclaimed collapsing. She hadn’t been that way for long, when Summer’s hoof began to rub her back in comfort.
“Come on Bronze, you’re not an idiot.”
“But I am!” She sobbed back, “I go and get all depressed because Grey doesn't like colts, so I get drunk and turn myself in a mare?! What’s wrong with me!?”
“You were drunk dear, you just weren’t thinking straight.”
“But NOW what?” Bronze wailed, tears streaming down her face. It was simply too much, too soon. Meeting Grey, falling for him, becoming a mare. What happened to his life? No her life she mentally corrected herself again bitterly. “That was the last vial! I’m stuck like this!”
“Is that really so bad?” Summer asked flatly, causing Bronze to blink up at her.
“W-Well I’m not a mare... I mean I was a-”
“And I was a human male once.” Summer interjected rather matter of factly. “Now I’m a happily lifemated mare with a foal on the way. What you were and what you are, can be two very different things.”
Bronze remained laying there as she thought about what Summer was trying to tell her. Two days ago she had been a Stallion cooped up in a little office on the Sea Pony Fancy. No worries, no friends, and little excitement. Now, because she had taken the time to speak to that one pony staring into the sea, she had friends, and certainly more excitement than she had in years. Yet she had also foolishly just made herself into a mare.
“But... I don’t know if a mare is what I can be...”
“Well that is the question I admit,” Summer said with a sigh, “You aren’t stuck like this you know.” Bronze’s eyes widened.
“I’m not!?”
“I can ask Twilight for more antidote you know. She’s the one who managed to give me my supply in the first place. It’ll take some time to contact her, but it’s possible.”
“S-So I can go back to normal? I can be myself again? So what do we do to get in contact with her?” The excitement was steadily rising in her voice. With any luck she’d be her old self again by the weekend!
“Not so fast. First we have to do something.” Summer said with a trot toward the door. Confused, Bronze fell into step behind her. Outside the room opened into the hallway of a ship, though which one he wasn’t certain.
“Do?” Bronze repeated trying to keep up, “What do we have to do? Why can’t it wait till after we contact Twilight?”
“You’ll see, but I promise you it’s vital we take care of this here and now!” She said, opening the door to the deck. Before Bronze knew what Summer was doing, she had gotten behind her gave enough of a push to force her outside.
Standing on various parts of the deck were a total of four ponies, three pegasus, and one earth pony. Pointe Vertigo was on the ship’s port side looking out over the waves, turning only to glance at them as they exited the hold. As for the other two pegasus, Deborah and Zephyr, they apparently trying to keep a very hectic looking Grey Bolt calm. The later, who upon seeing Bronze come out on deck immediately ran toward him, tackling him in a hug.
“Bronze! Thank Celestia you’re okay!” Grey Bolt exclaimed in a rush of words, “Look, I’m sorry about what happen last night but please don’t let that mean our... Friendship has to...” It seemed Grey’s mind finally caught up with him and processed that the unicorn he had just tackled was not exactly the gender he had originally expected.

So yeah, he kinda gave me permission to write another part, but as you know, I haven't been able to write much, or really anything. I tried writing other stuff, come back to it, but even though I have the basic timeline of events all planned out, I just couldn't get it on VIRTUAL PAPER. Which was rather annoying.

Not sure how my little writing spark/muse came back, but I'm not complaining. I just hope it lasts long enough for me to finish this.

FYI, there is more then what I'm posting here. No timetable on when you'll see it done, but I'm trying.

So much winning. Hope to see the rest soon

Okay, this definitely has my interest. It would be nice to finally find out what happens between Bronze and Grey. Also seeing more of Summer and Point is always a plus.
