Well, I've been active on this website for nearly a year now. I can't believe it's been that long. Haven't made as many stories as I originally thought that I would. I really need to try and do something about that this year.
But for now, wow! What do I do on an occasion like this? Not really much I can do. You guys wouldn't want to hear about what brought me to this, would you?

About two years ago, I was in college, trying as hard as I could to turn my last two failed semesters into something I could work with. And unfortunately, that didn't happen. I lack discipline, so I didn't take my studies seriously. Pretty much had to start working right after, and found myself in a restaurant getting not many hours, and not much pay either. It wasn't a very happy situation... but I had something to keep me going.
Before I flunked out of college, my friend told me about a show he had just started watching. And I remembered just last week, we had both been ripping on how weird we thought the whole phenomena was. And my online friends told me that it was worth watching too, so I buckled down and decided to give it a go.
First two: eh, not so bad. Not sold, but not awful like I thought it would be.
3: Ha, pretty funny.
4: Wow, farmer pony. I can see why people like this show.
5: Why would you make Fluttershy cry!? What is wrong with you!? You're a monster!! Wait... oh no, what's happening to me?
So that would be my routine for a while: go to work, hate my life, come home and pony it up and be happy. It was such a nice feeling that I had found something so cute and innocent to enjoy as a break from all the adult animation that I had become accustomed to.
I was no stranger to the concept of Rule 34; in fact in many cases, I supported it. However it did seem sort of wrong for there to be so much porn of something that was at heart a child's cartoon. So naturally I avoided it. "Not for me, but if you like it, whatever. Just keep it away from me." However while I appreciated artwork, I also started appreciating fanfiction. And one particular story I stumbled upon was Swayback Mountain. Butterscotch Sundae did a marvelous job weaving together a ship that I didn't even agree with and I loved the story. However, there was something that surprised me. There was a scene where Applejack and Rarity had just confessed their love for each other, and the mood was so heated. One of them had just moved their head down the others belly, and then- nothing. The clop scene was never written for us to see. I remember thinking "But, I wanna see it! Wait... why do I want to see that?"
That's when I became curious. I had known about ponibooru and spent so many hours on the site pouring through images. I decided one day to turn the default explicit filter... off. At first it was funny. I was just laughing at how much porn there was of these cartoon horses. But hours ticked my, and I found myself sitting with my legs crossed tighter and tighter, and my face absolutely burning. There were two things I could have done: Close my computer, go in front of the TV and settle down, or do something in passion that I could never take back for the rest of my life.
... Yeah, you can kind of tell what happened.
For months, I felt awful. I felt like I had done something wrong, like the innocence of the show had left, and I was just watching it for perverse reasons. Luckily I had friends who I was able to confide in, both online and IRL (can you believe it!?) that still loved me even for that. I couldn't believe it. But if they loved me, then I had to love myself to some degree as well, right? So I got past it. And I kept looking at those pictures, and kept reading those stories. And I thought less" Oh, this is so wrong!" and started thinking "Hm... I wonder if I could get in on this?" I'd been having late night fantasies of Fluttershy (my at the time #1 pony) and Big Macintosh, and I really wanted to write a story about them. So one night after half a glass of gin and triple sec, I somehow wrote chapter one of Chronicles of Princess Molestia. I didn't take on Fluttershy yet because I wanted to have something to practice before I tried that. I honestly was expecting to get barely any hits and probably forget about writing altogether. But wow, submitting it on Deviant Art that winter, I was proven very wrong. It inspired me to keep going, to write the story that I really wanted to tell. Early the following year, I would discover FIMFiction, take my stories from DA and slowly become more and more accustomed to this website. And even though right now Molestia is my favorite character to fantasize and write about, Fluttering Hearts is the story that I am most proud of. And I'm thrilled that so many people have enjoyed it and all the rest of my stories. And after writing, reading, and discussing it with so many others, I've learned that there really isn't anything wrong with clopping. I know that this series is wonderful and it teaches so many valuable lessons and has touched our lives in so many ways, but in the long run when you get down to it, it's still a cartoon. And there is nothing wrong with enjoying a cartoon in a more erotic way, as long as it doesn't disrupt the lives of the people around us.
So in a nutshell, in the past year I've been through two homes, and three jobs. Lost some friends, gained some new ones, and discovered a community of people who love me even if they don't share my interests but still support me, as well as people who do enjoy my work so much. . I'm going to be trying to get back into school this summer, but that's something for later. And it's time I start wrapping this up.
I always have Sundays off since my place of business is always closed on Sunday. I think it's time I added another chapter to Molestia, don't you? I'm sure you want to see my favorite sun princess get her groove on with her sister and her most faithful student, right? I'm not saying that I'll have the story done by Sunday, but I am going to dedicate some time to completing a draft. I need to start getting some stuff back to you guys for being so supportive to me.

I understand the way you felt when you first jumped to the clop side. I thought that I was ruining the show for liking it, but just like everything in life you can't escape rule 34. I've written clop. Most I haven't published. You got more courage than me. I posted one my clopfics under an alias on this site rather than the account use for my other stories. I'll admit I havevn't read most of your works, but from what I have I admit you are talented. I still count your Fluttershy and Big Macintosh (MY OTP) story to be one the best written romance stories for the two, and the clop was good too

I understand about the whole clopping thing... Felt the same way for a while, till I came to a decision. Sentience (capability to speak) is what makes it okay.

Big time. Funny thing is I wasn't a huge follower of fan fiction when I was younger either, so MLP brought me into that world as well. I'm certainly okay with what I've done up to this point, but just every now and then the thought does cross my mind of "These are horses. You are writing/reading erotica about horses. Don't forget that."

I'll always consider myself a fan, even when the show eventually ends. The fandom will keep going, there will still be conventions for a while after it's done, and we'll never forget how much it impacted our lives. As far as writing clop goes, it'll pretty much be based on how long the show keeps going. I have many ideas which I haven't touched upon, and if the series ends, then that would be an indicator for me to get those stories out and probably be done with it afterwards.

You know what? You came pretty close, so I'm gonna just say it: No, I don't have a dragon dick, but after the Black Friday madness last winter, I did manage to purchase a Chance the Stallion from Bad Dragon. It came in the mail about a month later, and... I very much enjoy it.

After I had first gotten over the discomfort of reading pony erotica, I would find a lot of stories with interesting premises, but less than satisfactory writing style. I knew I wasn't going to be a perfect writer overnight, but I thought maybe I could help give the community something that might be a little more enjoyable to read.
