Much Belated Updates · 1:37pm Jan 17th, 2013
Alright, so as anyone who's been keeping an eye on my work has likely seen, along with everyone of you wonderful people and ponies keep a creepy eye on me (you silly stalkers, you!) that I've been working on some projects...
And I've finally found my writing niche.
Here's a progress report and so-far-synopsis of each of the stories I'm working on now:
On Nightmare Station:
This is an RP me and several friends are doing together, with me as the Game Master, and is taking place in a fused world of Dead Space and MLP. The backstory is kinda different for both, so as to allow proper meshing of the story lines.
250 years ago, earth was leveled by a mass-extinction event, and humanity fled to space, using planet cracking as a method of resource gathering, on a massive scale. Large-scale space habitats and large, carefully climate-controlled planetary colonies on planets with few resources preserved what was left of Earth life, including humanity. EarthGov was still kind of corrupt, but actually wasn't as corrupt or devious as in Dead Space canon, which is why it wasn't able to prevent humanity's expenditures from killing Earth.
200 years into their search into space, Humanity discovered life on Equus, a planet that had once been much like earth. the ponies lived there, and their history was a bit different in this world, too. Instead of Nightmare Moon being banished, Celestia was able to reason with and comfort her sister, and Luna discarded the Nightmare mantle. instead of 1000 years of peaceful stagnation, Luna's presence enabled pony kind to spend that 1000 years in progress, unfortunately causing a near-total collapse of the world as they drained major resources at a ridiculous rate, barely managing to save themselves and a few other sentient races as the world died around them.
Humanity and the ponies met, and established good relations over the course of twelve years, bringing the Griffons, Three Tribes, the Crystal Ponies, and the Nightwings, the bat-winged ponies often employed by the night guard, into society. They all meshed and mingled well, and the second (and only other) planet in The Equus System, Tyranis, began having its numerous moons mined and cracked for their rich resources. A growing debris ring is slowly circling the planet now, and the many moons remaining are still being prepped for cracking.
E-Gov, the new version EarthGov, now incorporates Empresses Celestia and Cadenza as part of their executive body.
The debris ring is colonized by civilians, security personnel, engineers, researchers, and merchants, of human and pony alike in near harmony, the call of the Church of Unitology providing relief and comfort even in the darkest reaches of space to all.
That is, until the millions of interconnected miles of habitats and corridors begin to be splashed with crimson rivers, and the entirety of the society on Nightmare Station will soon either crumble... or become whole.

Project Wishing Star:
When you wish upon a star, you should be careful... they are, after all, just stars, and these ones in particular aren't too bright (rimshot, please.)
In this collection of six stories to be, a human is plucked from earth by the whim of a wish made upon a glowing orb of glass, often without realizing exactly how the hell the one correlates to the other.
And each of our new heroes, awakening in a land full of technicolor ponies of over 30 different species, will have to face trials and hardships. Each of them, stolen from their homes, will have to face the choice of choosing themselves or an entire world. Each of them shall make friends, find love, even start a family.
And each of them will face, in some way or another, a Living God.
>Z-Type: In Progress, and here on Fimfiction!
In this story, young Zach is plucked from his home and found by a pony with butterfly wings. She's a beautiful young mare, with butterfly-like wings, and says she's a flutterkin. Next thing he knows, he's being told she's his property, the house he's in is crashing, and he learns that the flutterkin are effectively enslaved to the Pegasi of their home valley by the power of a Living God of the Earth. Contains clop in many chapters, so, that's either a warning or a push of bribery.
>R-Type: In Progress!
Rose is a struggling young woman, dealing with college, an awful home, work, and paying the bills. Muttering a wish that she could just get away for a while, the headstrong young woman is dragged away to another world, and rescued by the son of a noble pony with moth wings. The next night, he's exiled from his father's estate, and he and Rose decide to travel together. Soon, Rose is learning that not all is fair and happy in this pony world, and seeks to take on the Living God of the Darkness to try bringing equality to all. Somehow. After she's done getting the most out of not having a period or needing to get pregnant for 50 weeks out of the year. Contains clop, but nowhere near as much as in Z-Type. Much more character-centric, while Z-Type is more story-centric.
>C-Type: In Progress!
Cole Winters just wants to finish college. he loves his mom, hes doing fine in school, and he's training to be a biologist. Heck, he even has someplace that's going to hire him the moment he's graduated! But when a glass orb the size of a basketball smashes through his window, his money is tight. Wishing he didn't have to pay for the window, Cole is whisked away to another land, waking up as a bat-winged pony with super nightvision and epic-tier hearing. too bad he's nearly blind in any light brighter than a bonfire, and gets a headache in crowded places from all the noise, and has a demonic pony trying to get in his pants against his wishes, his mother is probably thinking he was kidnapped, and his college is probably going to kick him out after three years of hard work, but hey; there's ponies!
There's only one being with the power to send him home now, and that's the Living God of the Light, not the best guy to hang out with if that sort of thing blinds/burns you. And, he'll need some convincing, too...
Will not contain clop. Any sex occurring is going to be 'off-screen' and merely alluded to. After all, babies have to come from somewhere, right?

Journey Home:
The second part in the Memories Past trilogy, it accompanies Dark, Simile, and Colgate as they travel into the Strife-Lands, and begin meeting some really weird travelers. In fact, everything seems to be lining up right now to be a storming influx of odd occurrences and dark happenings, and all in the River Valley. Colgate's pregnant, Simile is having Queen issues, and Dark... Dark's getting to be of two minds about things. Literally.
And, back in the real world, as Dark relates the story to an unknown listener, the listener is trying their best not to lose him. The question is, who is she, and where is he now?
Alright, folks, Journey Home is, in fact, in the works, still. I'm presently collaborating with a friend, which will produce a crossover between us. there's a bajillion words written for it at the moment, for his story, and the two of us will be working on my side of it soon.
And things are getting darker and weirder, and Dark seriously needs a break.

Alright folks, that's it for updates at the moment, except for one thing... on my most recent followed updates, the following fics (some of my favorite ever) showed up:
Justice Itself, and awesome Diablo Crossover of epic proportions and masterful writing,
Foal Necromancer, a combination of sad, adowaboo, and hilarious in perfect proportions,
Archmage, a wonderful story of self-discovery, coming into one's own power, and growing intrigue,
and MIA, a Halo+Ponies story that (for once) doesn't involve the Chief or the Arbiter in Equestria. Also, Jorge is best Spartan (after Kelly)
Now if only Dresden Fillies: False Masks had updated too, I would have broke a hole in the ceiling with my raging reading-boner.
Alright, folks, that's it for now. Oh, and I need to do another image dump soon, care to make any suggestions for the content? (must be pony related and SFW. Clop is great, but I'm avoiding NSFW blogs if I can)
