Celestia Sleeps In--Prologue

Prologue of new story is currently in moderation/preread/having darts thrown at it/whatever it is the mods do!
On a side note, I'm sick and tired of formatting. Blargh. Originally written in Word for XP, then uploaded into gDocs (I don't have a real internet connection at home), then I was suckered into converting it into Zoho writer (whatever that is), then back-converted to google document writer, then reformatted to be happy in BBCode or whatever these little boxes are running on...yargh.

I'm intending to give a summary of references here, at least those which I remember. Anyone who reads the fool thing is welcome to ask, via comment, PM, carrier pigeon, or whatever means he or she feels prudent, "hey, is that a reference to whatever, by whomever," and I'll say yea or nay. Who knows, I might find the next great story to read that way.
Theoretical Research in Neurponynomic Decision-Making. is from "Big Mac Reads Something Purple" (ending 2) by Bad Horse, a very good read.
The Everfree Forest and why every bloody thing, etc. is from "The Xenophile's Guide to Equestria" by archonix, which is, as many will know, based in the so-called "Leroverse" or "Xenoverse."
I am making the assumption that Trixie is the diminuative of "Beatrix," although neither the show nor the toys in any way imply that.
