A Little Space (Summary/Spoilers)

This was a nice short story to read, and I considered it to be rather thought provoking. Who is Granny Smith's husband, and what happened to him? What is her real name? I would have wanted to see those questions explored more in the show itself if it was possible. It's interesting to think about how Granny Smith viewed Pear Butter after Bright Mac and Pear Butter were married, I imagine she would have had more sympathy for Pear Butter compared to Pear Butter's father. It's a really sad family situation, but, I find it very interesting to think about. I wish the friendship between Mayor Mare and Granny Smith was explored more in the show as well.

I wish we knew what became of Granny's husband, too. No one really ever talked about it in the fandom, which was strange. Maybe in smaller spaces like this fanfic, but not enough to where it was a memorable fandom topic.
