    The End (For Now)

    Hey.

It's been a while since I've done one of these. There's quite a bit to talk about. So, let's get to it, shall we?

Now, to those who have been following me for a while, you might be looking at my latest entry and say, '...really? That's how it all ends? After everything Beatri and pals have been through!? No, that can't possibly be how it ends!'

    Back with an update!

Hi! Sorry for the radio silence. Basically took some time off to figure out some real-life stuff and rearrange my living space. BUT I'm back and ready to conclude Undeath and Rebirth in just two more chapters before focusing my efforts on some projects left in the fridge. Speaking of which, after a long thought process and realization that I no longer have full time or energy to commit to certain

Unfortunately, it is... for the time being, at least.

You've noticed this for a while, but my upload consistency when it comes to chapters and updates has staggerly slowed down. Real life has caught up to me, and my passions, hobbies, and goals have all taken a back seat just so I can make ends meet. Normally, I wouldn't bother saying any of this as I'm a very reserved person, but I figured now would be a good time to shed a small light on things.

I'm approaching the age of 30. Nowhere near my peak, for sure, but it's still a big deal to me as it's a reminder that I'm far past the point of young adulthood. I have a partner I've been married to for almost a year and a half who, without them, I probably wouldn't have made it this far. I've found a good support system that has opened up new venues in life that I thought had slipped past my grasp. I also have a job that demands my attention and focus for 80% of the week.

Am I a little heartbroken that I can't end things how I want to on time? Absolutely. If it were up to me, I'd make sure content was delivered on a bi-weekly basis. But the thing is, I have this curse where I'm constantly reinventing myself. Constantly looking for the correct method of doing the things I love and making it easier on myself. I'm inconsistent and always changing things on the fly, and obviously, that leads to a lot of confusion.

A lot of my characters are like that (The Demi's being the prominent example), and, looking back to the old work we did, with the knowledge and respect I have for them now, I wanna set some things straight.

So... what is all this rambling leading to? A simple decision.

For now, Daydreams & Nightmares will stay as it is until a few things happen. First and most importantly, Prisoners of War is completed. We have a reputation for doing things out of order, and I really meant to have a few more chapters before this story was released. But, again, IRL. And I wasn't going to let the date change as the Eve of May made too much sense.

Secondly, I want to go back to the beginning, rewrite and touch up on a lot of things in the previous stories that were just early installment weirdness, and show off more consistent artwork that matches my standards today. This also includes finally finishing the second cyberverse story that I've been neglecting for a while now (on top of my other neglected pieces that I'll most likely never finish because I am so out of love with MLP).

Only then will I pick up where D&N left off because I already know and have it crafted in my head how this all really ends. But until I can get to that point (which will be a long while for now; I'm in the middle of wrapping up my first DnD campaign with friends), Beatrix is gonna remain asleep for a bit. Do not worry. She will wake up from this nightmare of her design eventually...

I can't thank you all enough for sticking with me all these years. It's quite eye-opening that my edgy little fetish story has taken off the way it is. It really means a lot to Sharaz and I.

Again, sorry to leave things on a major cliffhanger. But there's too much-unfinished business that needs to be taken care of before I end things properly.

Thank you for everything you've done so far, and what's to come. I often lack free time myself, but not nearly to that degree. Personally I'm fine with early installment weirdness, as I feel most of it can be hand waved by manipulation by Beatrix or Omen/Sheba/The Eldritch/etc. interfering on their travels and rewriting reality, intended or not. With Prisoners of War, I hoped to tie threads I've set up so the cast is ready once you take the reigns for the Lightendark finale, as some of my ideas may not be possible once that happens.

Without your aid, I wouldn't have been able to expand the cast and lore so much, and the series likely wouldn't have continued past Beatrix Belladonna Versus the Vampiric Planet, not to mention all the fantastic art you've done, so many thanks again!:pinkiehappy:

Hey Nota.

Thanks for working on Lightendark. The time since I've met you guys (from OC Planet onwards) were the best. Lightendark is what motivated me to begin writing, drawing, and producing music (huzzah to the Lightendark OST!). It also gave me you and Sharaz as my best friends.

Though I also have my own lack of time and a knack for getting stuck in writer's block, I still want to say that if you need me for anything, I'll be here.

I hope things go well in your life as well. Thank you Nota.
