Final blog post + The wild ending of Savior of Eternity revealed and explained · 4:12pm April 21st

Greetings, those who remain!

First off, I've updated my bio and will copy paste it here:

I will not be writing or updating anymore fan fiction, however I will not delete my stories and will periodically check the website to answer comments and messages. I've grown past this phase in my life and am pursuing different creative goals that have less ridicule and social stigma, which is unfortunately attached to this fandom. This was a fun creative exercise that I had time for in college, but as of now my priorities have shifted.

I am actually starting to write a real novel and will reach out to some followers on here when I have the bulk of it completed.

With that out of the way, from what I can remember, this is how the Eternity series was going to end... It was going to be split into 3 arcs/parts like the other books, but each arc was going to be drastically different in setting and story. The last chapter of Savior I had written was about the different pony delegates meeting at Canterlot Castle, Rainbow Dash finally meeting up with Zack and it ended with Celestia asking Zack that she needs to show him something very important.

The next chapter would have been Celestia showing Zack (through ancient device like the Panexus) the origins of their world and the origin of the Foreseer. The Foreseer is revealed to be Zack's father, hinted at in the Slave of Eternity epilogue and the Blackest Winter part 3. Note that this is the orignally "father" that Rainbow Dash meets with and Zack sees briefly in those mentioned sections. There is also the "foreseer" Celestia comes into contact with in the second book while she is away (and that Zack sees in his dream in the first chapter of book 2). Celestia plunges into a dark crater in the middle of a deserted city/castle and at the bottom is a mechanical Gravemind super computer thing. We'll get to that later.

Zack's dad is a scientist working at government facility and is away from his new sons all the time. He is leading trails that would find out which animal would evolutionary become equals in intelligence to humans by speeding up their evolutionary processes. This same facility is also where the super computer thing is created which I mentioned earlier. He is soon stripped of his funds by his higher ups, though in secret continues to work on the project. He eventually makes the first panexus and through that device creates Moonsinger, the time-traveling blue pony with white hair he shows up throughout the second and third book. Through this process, time collapses on itself, Moonsinger is flung into the future, and Earth's civilizations and the scientific laws that govern it are destroyed. Earth eventually becomes a new planet of millions of years which is the MLP world.

After that it would have been a few more chapters of the Equestrians, Cervians, and regular island-dwelling horses I wrote in the beginning of book 3 (for some weird reason) getting ready to war with Tirek, the griffons, the earth ponies (who were forced out of Equestria long ago), as well as Malorga, the giant mountain-sized dragon Tirek had been growing and released upon the world, destroying Manehatten in the process. Zack talks more with Rainbow Dash, maybe they make love, who know! The day of the battle comes and the Mane 6 face off against Malorga. Using the Elements of Harmony, they form into a giant, eight-legged horse , Sleipnir. They fight one another and end up defeating the dragon, but they are exhausted and are soon captured behind enemy lines. The rest of the battle takes place, Zack ends up facing Tirek through the body of the griffon king (can't remember his name). Zack initially wins, but then tirek takes form outside of the king, who is still alive. They fight even more, Zack wins eventually. Meanwhile, Valiant and his son, along with Spitfire and other pegasi to save the mane 6. They save them, however near the end, the griffon king takes a bow with a poisoned arrow and shoots (and kills) Twilight Sparkle :pinkiegasp:

At the end of the first arc, Zack is butthurt and realizes that this wouldn't have happened if he never showed up in Equestria. More reasons to hate him and see that he's mentally a man child. He makes the choice to lock himself in one of the magic portal room things Celestia showed him long ago in the second book (I'm sorry I can't remember all of my made up crap). There his in communion with Om and he basically learns more advanced magic and mediation while held up in the room. That's the end of part 1.

Part 2 is where things get weird. To note, at this point in the series I have loose ideas as to how it would have went and ended. Zack emerges from the magic room 100 or so years in the future and boy have things changed. Imagine cyberpunk Equestria in a corporate hellscape that spreads throughout Equestria, bleak as shit. I had initially thought of him emerging while a tour was going on in Canterlot castle and ponies flipping shit upon seeing him. Canterlot castle is more or less a historical monument with no political power. Celestia and Luna are gone, though I never wrote why or where they went. Zack uses one of the many artifacts Celestia had, and one is a mask that disguises him as a pony. He uses this to traverse New Equestria, or rather Corpoquestria. He's experiencing culture shock and basically skirts into an alley to have an anxiety attack. In this alley a portal opens and from it emerges Moonsinger, this is her first time meeting Zack and this was right after she was flung into the future. Zack explains some things to her and the two go off from there.

From this point I wasn't sure where I wanted it to go, but here are some ideas of what might have happened...

Remember the mayor from book 3? His heirs rule over the corporations and industries in New Equestria and essentially rules over the government. Their heirs somehow married into or tricked the Apple family into controlling their farm and turning it into a huge industry called Apple Corp (they're not making computers though). Apple Corp is basically the umbrella company for all of these other companies that rule and govern over New Equestria. Zack, along with Moonsinger and a few others, basically infiltrate Apple Corp and take on these techno-magical users that end up being more a handful (hoofful?). There might have been something about Apple Corp stealing Celestia and Luna and using their magic to empower them and their businesses, idk. I think by saving them, one ends up dying, which I think is Celestia. Her magic (and immortality) is drained entirely thus killing her when unplugged from the device. Luna had evaded Apple Corp for a long time and was recently captured, thus not fully drained and retaining her immortality. I think that's what initially makes Zack and Moonsinger go after Apple Corp. Idk, that's as much as I remember about the part.

Part 3... Zack once again goes into the magical room, never to emerge, however the outside of the gateway to the magical room forces him out. When he leaves it, the gateway collapses. Far future, the world is pretty much a desert and New Equestria, which had once developed even further after Zack's second absence, is now in ruin. The Foreseer (machine) had finally come to fruition in that time, emerged, and took over the planet. Ponies are still around, but they are in these entertainment cubes where all of their needs are met, though they decide not leave them even though they could. The foreseer pretty much controls them in the same sense that in the Matrix movies, humans are in the those pods and machines rule. Zack ends up meeting Moonsinger in her final iteration, as well as Jacob, Zack's brother...

Before I continue I need to explain Jacob and his significance. Now Jacob was going to be in a companion story involving Moonsinger. A 1000 years before Twilight Sparkle moved to Ponyville, Moonsinger was Celestia's prodigy, and the head of the Elements of Harmony. The beginning of the story would have started with them infiltrating Tirek's temple (the same one Zack finds in book 1, where also the griffon king finds the staff that holds Tirek). Tirek is captured, bind, and brought before Celestia and Luna for trial. During trial, and breaks free and escapes. Moonsinger, along with her 5 other elements (OG Pinkie Pie Surprise would have been one of them, along with Spitfire). Now I know what you're thinking, that same Spitfire!? Yes, there is some sidestory in book 2 I can't remember where it's revealed she is immortal. Her immortality curse is gained during the journey to find and stop Tirek again. Jacob shows up during this quest, though I don't remember the reason.

So anyways, the final characters in the last part are Zack, Moonsinger, Jacob, Luna, Spitfire, Zack's father. Essentially the immortal, perfected mane 6 v.s. the foreseer. By defeating the foreseer, balanced is finally restored. Zack's dad, who became a Dierus who is responsible for this iteration of Earth, finally succeeds and perfecting that chain "Katkahas" and thus Zack literally saves eternity and makes the planet into paradise/heaven. Don't remember the Dierus or Katkahas or shit like that? I don't blame you, it's from the first chapter 'origin' in Savior. I'll quote some of it below...

From nothing sprang life. Light leapt from the darkness and it has been traveling over an endless journey since the beginning. The most prominent of creations from this light, the fixated vessel over all of eternity known simply as The Dawn Fire, was the Creator, Aeterus. Aeterus is a mysterious, almighty being, never revealed but always present. He sought to create and mold time and space around him, and so he did. First, he shaped the realm around him, this is known as Eternity. Eternity was fragile and weak, so he created its foundations, the laws of the Infinite Protocol. He then sundered Eternity and created two separate realms within the same space, one larger to fit the other. The greater realm is known as Anunimun, the smaller realm was known as Katkahas. The greater was governed solely by the Infinite Protocol, whereas the lesser was governed by nothing.

In the newness of all life, still he was alone and he sought to create life himself–for creating life is the greatest of gifts. He constructed a being of his image and this divine being was known as Dierus. He instructed Dierus to form within Katkahas its own creations, and to watch over it from within Anunimun where it must reside to withhold its form. As the last of Aeterus’ instructions were given upon Dierus, he left to watch over Eternity. Aeterus had mended the book of Eternity, and now Dierus was to write its story.

The one Dierus sought out the first light, The Dawn Fire, and from its flames it weaved together the first universe, placing it within Katkahas. Dierus then formed its own laws and systems to uphold balance within its universe. When law was given, life was birthed and within the universe it thrived. Dierus rested, knowing that it had become a master of its own design, much like its master, Aeterus.

As time passed, flaws began to arise within its universe. Even though Aeterus was flawless in his design, Dierus could not create a perfect design. In desperation, it sought to uphold its realm, so it created the first of many spirits, the Umerus. The Umeri were allowed to travel through both Anunimun and Katkahas, and were able to interact vocally with Dierus’ designs–whereas Dierus could not. If they were to truly interact within the physical plane of the universe's reality, they would need to give up their spirit forms and abilities; likewise Dierus would need to uphold these laws to interact with its creation as well. The first and only Umerus that was created by the first Dierus was of higher making than the beings within the Dierus’ universe, but also was more prone to be swayed by corruption. When the spirit could not aid in saving the Dierus’ universe, Dierus devised a flawless mechanism that would insure a perfect universe. It would take a great deal of time to create this paradise, and it knew this well and thought long on proceeding to go with its intentions.

Within Katkahas, Dierus formed the end of the chain and waited for its universe to end. When time collapsed on itself within its universe, its actions were set in motion. Dierus choose a single sentient being from within the old universe and granted the being its power, and that being became a Dierus itself. This was the first law of many declared by the Infinite Protocol: The first Dierus must choose another from within the previous universe to become a new Dierus for the next universe. No one Dieri can interact or control another universe that is not its own.

Once the new Dierus was chosen, it was instructed to create a universe of his own design; and when it accomplished this, the universe formed a new link in the chain with its own timeline, its own laws and its own creations. From the old universe, the original Dierus brought over the more perfected elements and objects from within that link in the chain to carry over to the new universe. The system was in place, the chain had begun. Whenever a universe would end, the last Dierus would choose a new Dierus from within the last universe and would also carry over the more perfected pieces of the old universe. Over Eternity, each universe would become more perfected than the last, and eventually paradise will be achieved.

That's all, folks!

Hope you enjoyed this last, vague entry into my series. I'm very appreciative of everyone that's supported me throughout this process and dealt with my bad writing and grammar. It's made me into a much better writer and storyteller, and hopefully I will continue to write for the rest of my life. Thank you and goodnight!

It's been like 9 years since the last chapter I read on your story, here. I might have just forgotten to read the last two, the site sometimes has a bunch of posts in one day, but thank you for the closure I suppose. Have fun doing other stuff!
