So, byuu/Near actually did kill himself.

To say that this is a kick in the pants is an understatement.

Here I was, fully convinced that the entire campaign to destroy all badthink sites was founded on a fake suicide, but then I learn:
1. Byuu really did commit suicide
2. Null has had the evidence the entire time, and withheld it from us
3. Well, okay, I didn't really LEARN this, but I was reminded that KF, much like 4channel, is just another controlled opposition shithole with as much free speech as any other lemming website, which is to say "none"

So, what am I taking away from this? Simple. While I stand by everything else I said, I'll stop claiming that legbutt suicides are all a hoax. Will I still ask questions? Naturally. Will I automatically dismiss it and assume this is some monkey see monkey do shit? Not anymore.

Don't get me wrong, this doesn't change much of anything. Leftists are still liars and cheats who will bullshit you, prevent you from using their tactics while still using them themselves, police you on who you're allowed to talk to, and do historical revisionism to make you pay for the actual mistake of treating them like human beings. I'm still a Celtic Pagan, and will question Abrahamic religions the same way I do weird internet sexualities. But being as I believe in deception having no place in polite society, it doesn't sit well with me to not be upfront about my mistake.
