Broken Images Fixed · 7:10pm March 29th
Quick update here, nothing exciting!
A few folks gave me a shoulder-tap to say most of the images in the online version of Empathy for the Devil had an error message. Long story short, it's all fixed, and I'm gonna be (politely and respectfully) whining to FIMfic staff to update their image hosting features. 
You're not able to upload from your own computer if you want to include an image - you need to use a url. Which, honestly, even if it didn't lead to issues like this, it also encourages people to take images off other sites online, without necessarily crediting the artist. Don't love that!
Gonna see if they'll be able to fix that without too much hub-bub. Seems like a basic oversight.

P.S. The sequel stories are under development - revisions almost done, then it's off to the art stage!
Image hosting takes a lot of storage size. The fact that you can upload cover art for your stories at all is already a feature other fanfiction sites don't offer.
For comparison, you would need these many words to have the same amount of storage space for these image sizes:

Certainly grateful for what features we do have - I remember when FF.net first got cover art as an option and how wild that was! Image uploading is such a common feature across so many other kinds of sites that I suppose it's easy to take for granted! It's basic nowadays, but I appreciate that there are reasons why the feature hasn't been implemented already here.
